My fave galaxy is Throwback.

Just got to 120 stars last night. So far I've managed to get 5 green stars. I'm trying to pace myself now, since a masterpiece like this deserves to be savored.

I really need a game like this, my 360 is annoying the hell out of me with annoying games.

I got it. It's certainly an improvement over the first one. The opening and Yoshi galaxy were so much fun, but these other galaxies are feeling just a bit too much like the original for me. I'm in world 2 now, though, so hopefully it'll start getting more interesting.

I'm at 241... all I need is that last star but... it's too... HARD!

i just beat the game with 80 stars a few minutes ago

Trading it in soon. I didn't bother to get more than 80 something stars, it was really fun at first, but going through the same galaxies over and over to get more stars to move on is so boring. Same with the first.

Superstar Saga is better than BIS, pix. Now do you trust my judgment that MetalMario and pikmaniac are right?

Yeah I just spent a friggin' hour trying to beat that. Just brutal. I really like the level itself (cool concept at least; I always liked the one in the original Galaxy) but it's just so aggravatingly difficult

I think I've got around 110. I let my friend borrow it for a weekend so I'm lagging behind, but now that summer's here I'll be cracking away at it.

As an aside, I just feel like I have to say that I honestly can't remember the last 3D platformer I played where I actually wanted to go back and replay levels just for fun...oh wait, yes I can: Mario 64. Galaxy 2 is just that good. I can't tell you how many times I've gone through the fluffy bluff galaxy just for the hell of it.

And the music makes it so much better.

I'm at 241 stars and trust me the game starts to get really hard towards the last 60 or so stars. I'm on the last one and it seems to be impossible to get. ):<

I'm not going to lie, but this game's music is some of the best I've heard. Ever.

A really fantastic soundtrack. There's a couple tracks I'm not a big fan of, but it comes down to personal taste, really. I'm just SO glad Nintendo is finally discovering the wonders of orchestrated soundtracks--when I hear remastered versions of the Super Mario World theme in High Tail Falls, or Whomp's Fortress, it gives me chills.
