The SNES pad is perfect for pulling off Street Fighter moves. I can hit 95-99 out of 100 dragon punches with a SNES pad.

I know the moves, Starboy, but thanks. There is an operations manual for both the original I have on VC and the HD version I have on PS3. I am just saying I find many moves difficult to pull off, Zangief's included, though I've gotten used to his through much practice

Really all it comes down to is how much practice you put into the game. Just keep at it and it will get easier. In the HD Remix version, you have a training mode - use it. If you're already using it, use it more. Just keep practicing a move over and over again until you got it by heart. Then start trying to use it in combos and stuff. Do the same with the rest of that character's moves until you got them all down. Just keep on practicing, and you're bound to get them down. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but it pays off in the end. Plus, once you get one or two characters down, it's much easier to get the rest of the characters down.

Of course, you just do what you feel you need to do. This is just what worked for me, and it seemed like it came in handy. I find that when it comes to fighting games, and most games in general, you get what you put in, so putting in a lot of practice helps me get the most enjoyment out of a game. Plus, since a lot of games play quite a bit like Street Fighter, it was much easier for me to get into other fighting games because of the work I put into SF2.

I'm not really one to "practice" games. When I use the word, I just mean incidental practice from my ordinary playing, not specifically working on something or "training," you know. I'm not that dedicated to any one game.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

@Adam i just could never master Zangief's crazy stick rotations so that's why i say he has a hard move set. but i totally understand, i love zangief and am horribly ashamed to no be able to drop the iron curtain on some marks.

Once you've played one street fighter game you've played them all, is what it all boils down to.Just my opinion(puts on flame resistance suit with magic resistance +5).

@adam The anniversary collection is worth getting, you get alot of street fighter for your buck and it comes packed with street fighter 3, which i kinda liked.

In a way, yes you are right, Ryu for example does basically play the same throughout. But the later games have more characters, more special moves and better balancing of the charactrers than the earlier games do. I like Street Fighter, I like additions and improvements to Street Fighter so I'll be continuing to buy every Street Fighter game they put out. Bring on Super Street Fighter IV!

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
