Interesting. I actually JUST got a copy of the first Galaxy game and it's pretty boring imo. 99% of my deaths have been falling into a pit because the camera is garbage. I've never really been a huge fan of the 3D Mario games as they tend to be cheap. Give me NSMB2 and LET ME KEEP YOSHI and I'll be happy.

I didn't think it was funny, well except the cake part.
I agree. Except even the cake jokes were kind of dumb. I certainly can't speak for everyone, but I know I burned myself out on "Mario and the Princess are totally DOING IT!" jokes when I was around 11. Yahtzee's usually much funnier than that.
I won't say that he doesn't normally go for the easy joke or the obvious joke or the cheap joke...because he definitely does. But when he's at his best he doesn't rely on them to give his videos substance.
I was disappointed in Mario Galaxy 2. When I saw he'd reviewed it, I thought he'd raise a good number of legitimate issues that many other reviews glossed over (as he often does). Instead, I got five minutes of Mario sex jokes. Or, rather, five minutes of one single Mario sex joke. Huzzah.
I like how he mentioned that nobody in the sequel recalled the events of the first game. Other than that, he was being very nitpicky about the game and made me look at cake from a different perspective.
I lost all respect I had for Yahtzee after his Monster Hunter Tri video. It was atrocious.
I never watched it (his videos got boring after a while), but wasn't that the one where the game was "nothing but gathering mushrooms and was a very boring game"? lol

Yes it is. Which makes me think he plays most of the games he reviews for around 20 minutes then begins to complain like those women on those Snicker commercials where it says "your not yourself when your hungry".

That sums the game up perfectly.

The cake thing got old fast over the course of the video imo. He did make a couple of good criticisms, but it mostly amounted to: "Wii games suck and people who like the Wii suck and Mario games suck even if I found this one somewhat enjoyable it still sucked on principle".
