I lost all respect I had for Yahtzee after his Monster Hunter Tri video. It was atrocious.
I never watched it (his videos got boring after a while), but wasn't that the one where the game was "nothing but gathering mushrooms and was a very boring game"? lol
Yes it is. Which makes me think he plays most of the games he reviews for around 20 minutes then begins to complain like those women on those Snicker commercials where it says "your not yourself when your hungry".
Yeah, out of curiosity I watched it, and it was pretty bad, haha.
@The+Fox: After a couple hours of play you unlock the farm, which lets you farm herbs, mushrooms, honey, etc. super quickly. There are very few items you have to acquire by gathering in order to play the game. Most of those can be acquired via shops or trading.
The only really tedious part of the game is mining for ore and trying to carve a rare monster piece. It's definitely a grind sometimes, but not so much if you play it smart. ie, don't focus on farming the same monster for hours on end (mix it up a bit ), and mine a few deposits whenever you're in a quest.
