Okay so I beat Trauma Center: Second Opinion, and today I beat New Blood. I already own Trauma Team, but I was wondering if I should get a copy of Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2, and beat it before I start Trauma Team. The reason I ask is because *Spoiler Maybe for New Blood in New Blood towards the end the main characters from the first game appear for a short scene. It wasn't a major part of the story, but I liked that I understood who they were and what they were referencing when they spoke. If I play Trauma Team will there be any parts where they reference specific characters or events from Under The Knife 2?

Someone that has actually played all of the games in the series will probably be able to give you a much better answer, but from what I understand, Trauma Team is a completely standalone experience with only a few small nods to the previous games.

For my part, I've never played any of the other Trauma Center games and I still managed to follow and enjoy everything everything that was going on in Trauma Team.
