To anyone who has played both Excitetruck and Excitebots, is it worth it for someone who has played Excitebots to get Excitetruck. I wanna get it but i fear it might be too outdated compared to Excitebots. Basically I'm wondering if it is different/fun enough to justify the purchase.
It just depends. Excitebots: If you want a 6 player online game with tons of replay value and pointless mini-games during racing that either distract you from the race and/or slow you down from the "fas-paced racer" on Wii.
Excite Truck: Or a racer without online and no pointless mini-games that'll distract you.
Yes. Yes. yes. yes. Even though the sequel is out (in America, anyway!), Excite Truck remains one of my favourite Wii games. You can get it for something stupid like £8 now if you look around, so deffo worth it!
@DaDun: Well, Excitebots has sold like crap, so if you wait a bit I think you'll see the price fall even further. $9 for Excitetruck is a pretty good deal.

I saw Excitetruck second hand for £5 the other day. I was tempted but didn't bother. I like the idea of playing your own songs in game. I don't always trust launch titles for quality. If it was online I would have got it. I would be much more interested in Excitebots - but judging by how it's selling I doubt it will ever come to the uk
