Since there's, like, five games so far available for purchase, I'm guessing this is a pretty new option. I like it, though.

It's been active for at least a few months, though they added a couple more games recently.

No, it looks like you'd need a credit card for these. Interesting how four out of five games listed are VC, and TWO of those are Metroid games. Very strange list indeed. Makes one wonder why it's there at all.

My guess is to try and raise interest, as they all are games with a Wii sequel released recently or very soon.

It is also nice if you JUST want that game, and don't want to purchase a block of points.

Too bad I have all those.
