Yeah if you watch the Nintendo Channel promo then don't blink! It's over very quick. I'm interested to see how this turns out. The Wii remote is a good fit for dart games. I tried darts on Midway's Game Party and it was easily the best mini game on that collection. The motion controls worked perfectly for it. Let's see how this one turns out since a different developer is handling it.
@Amarous Badger: So having friends over isn't interacting, then?
I'm not really sure what impressions I can offer so ask questions and that'll help me say something about my experience with the game thus far. I will say, though, that I like this better than WarioWare's darts game.
Hmmmm, what's the difficulty. I mentioned earlier about a flash game I played. I couldn't beat it on very easy. Do the characters comment in the game? Is it fun. Does it have an addictive quality? Is there like a tourniment or mode where you have to beat all the different games to beat the game?
@Amorous Badger: It's alot safer than playing with real darts, and less damaging to the surroundings.
Difficulty? Well controls work good if not great. AI can be a bit tricky even on Novice but I haven't tried the hardest difficulty yet so I can't really comment on that.
Characters don't comment, no. They're just there to represent your profile. There are no 3D character models in the game but really, this isn't a big loss since it doesn't make things too complicated (see: extra).
Addictive? That depends if you like darts. I'm a moderate fan of the game and will play from time to time. I had fun with WarioWare darts but for a couple reasons, this does a better job at replicating a solid dart experience.
Tournament = Nope. Really pick-up-and-play. There are three selections on the Main Menu: Options, Choose Profile and Game. Game has 5 modes: 501, Cricket, Baseball, Around the Clock and one more (name escapes me). Just choose your options and start playing. That's it.
Only benefit I can see to this game is that you won't have small holes in your wall. Other than that, I really don't (at least for me) see anything that makes me want to get this game.
PASS (in a FAIL sort of way).

You could always just take the money you'd save by not buying it, and GO DOWN THE PUB and play actual darts.
Wait save money and go to a bar? That is actually not true. Drinks are pretty expensive at a bar. $2-$3 a beer. Might be cheaper at happy hour but still. Then you gotta pay to play actual darts. Play a few games and a few beers and you got a more expensive adventure than $5 to just download the game. Also do you really think everyone is 21 or older here? Even half the members? What do they do?
Anyway on a side note the review is up. Panda gave it a 4.
Exactly! Thank you. Been waiting for someone to click in. Not to mention gas money. Anyway, I'm working on my review for the game right now so I can keep people posted if anyone is interested.
