I didn't see this posted anywhere yet so I thought I'd ask. Which reward are you platinum status people getting? The mario hat or Doc Luis's Punch Out. I think I'll prob get the game.
This was posted, quite awhile ago. I'm getting the hat. Anyone who gets the ONE fight mini-game is foolish. Why would you want such a small reward for all of that work? The Mario hat is at least limited, and collectible. It has real value, you can't go selling your Punch-Out mini-game on eBay if you don't like it.
The fact that Nintendo made platinum members choose a prize is ridiculous anyways...

eh I must have missed it. I was in florida for a week with no computer 2 use. The hat does look pretty bad ass though I'm not gonna lie. tough decision haha

I got the Punch Out because it is something I would actually use, plus I am a big Punch Out fan. The Mario hat is cool, but it would just collect dust.

We won't know until it's released.
Given that Nintendo doesn't allow fo files over 40MB, I would prepare for disappointment. 40MB is barely enough to hold the audio and textures for a Punch-Out match! I'm betting it will be a pretty bare-bones fight.

By the same token, you can't BUY the Doc Louis fight on ebay, meaning if anyone, in theory, wanted both, they'd have to pick the Punch Out reward, and then surf over to ebay to snag the hat. You won't be able to do it the other way around.
But hey, I'd prefer the Punch Out thing over just about anything else CN would conceivably give us. I love the game and the series. It may just be one more character, but it looks like we're getting several modes, just like we got for all the other fighters. And that would make it as replayable as anything else in the main game itself.

You won't be able to re-register games you've already gotten the points for though. But if you have a LOT of games and two houses you could get Punch out and the Mario hat.
You should just try to recover your password by clicking the little button thing on the site.
