Well...anyways, I'm off. (back to the game, lol)

I'm fighting Rathian online and Barroth offline now.

Could someone help me on the Great Jaggi quest?

The first one?

Yes the quest to beat him. I keep dieing cause the little ones attack me or the big attacks and kills me. I used a paintball on it to keep track of where it is but otherwise ya i haven't beaten him yet.

I went and attacked him a nightime and he appeared in the indoor cavern area with the ledge that leads to the monster nest soooo... I quit the mission, went back and changed my weapons to bow gun and redid the quest sitting on the ledge. The Jagi couldnt reach me and I was able to just blast the crap out of him. The only thing to worry about was the damn bug that attcks you while you are sat there but its only an irritation.
Every since I had killed him that wayn though I have never been able to find him in that area though which is a shame as it was my easiest kill.

Do you eat at that cat's place before you go? Also I assume you're stocking up on potions (mega potions hopefully), but there are potions that you can make to enhance your strength. I've got some Demonic strength type potion that I made. I also upgraded my armor to over 20 and added attack gems (Basically trying to buff up). OH. I brought flash bombs but they didn't always seem to me to work on the Great Jaggy (maybe I was doing something wrong?)
What are you using for a weapon?

Edit: You ARE paying attention to how he's moving, right? When he's really hurt, it shows.

@Tails: Best bet with him (and any other monster) is to worry about your health before his. You have 50 minutes, don't rush it, and take plenty of items. Watch his movements and learn to roll at the right time, also, get good at blocking. A famous and deadly hunter once told me...

As for me, I beat Laggy last night, wooh, omg that was epic! Any issues I might have had regarding underwater combat have been removed by necessity. And now... I haz a Laggy Blade. It's beautiful, and the noise it makes when you swing it, omg yummy. HaHa! Kelbi haven't got very good thunder resistance. zzhooom... splat!

I've taken two down solo but last night I was playing with two other hunters, one of whom was HR23 and died more often than us lowly HR13ers. She is a great fight though and with your help we'll make short work of her

I had my chance to take out a second one, but I was too busy stealing her eggs at the time.

I've noticed the battles online are much tougher than off, I'm sure they have ramped up the amount of damage dealt by beasties. I noticed this with Barroth. I can take him down single player without losing a life. But online? Erm... not so good.

Yeah, they have more HP and do more damage online, which makes sense as you're not supposed to be a hero and go it alone

Well, while the team has her distracted, I'll get busy with that tail. LOVE stealing tails. Did it to Laggy twice last night. "Excuse me mate, I'm just here for your tail"

We're (EU) a few days behind you guys (US) with regards to quests. I hadn't even thought of checking the city for bargains though, cheers for the heads up.

Yeah, its the Festival of Fear. Jhen Mohran is in town and the city wants him dead. The whole city is enveloped with a sandstorm and they're selling items they normally wouldn't and everything at massive discount.

(They're selling things like: Mega Pickaxe, Mega Bug Net, Catalyst, Thunderbugs, Wyvern Claws, Dragon Toadstools, and tons of other crap. Also, the trading woman has a unique furnishing for trade... A golden sword for 15 lagia coins.)

Agh. I killed a Royal Ludroth yesterday because it attacked ChaCha. I need to go fight the Gobul again After getting pwned the first time I'm scared to fight itagain.

@SuperZ: Going around killing other stuff isn't such a bad idea, it could help you to upgrade weapons and armour before your next meeting with fish-boy. You can do it!

I'm up to 9. Done the offline arena a couple times because it seems to give more coins than doing it online.... My best time is 15:31. I was doing so well and started screwing up at the end :l (Goal time is 15 minutes)
