I've hardly looked at the Arena, I must fix that. Can you get furnishings as well as coins in there?
Nope. All I've ever gotten in arenas are Coins, vouchers (for food and feeding an entire party), armor spheres (And +...nothing higher), and steel/silver eggs. You can also get gold eggs if you hit an S rank time, but that's pretty difficult and requires a bit of luck as well as skill.
@SZM - Don't be skurred. You can do this. Everybody dies in this game now and then. You have to take it as a learning experience and run right back at them. You got this.
@Machu - Congrats on your first Lagi kill. Such an awesome moment when you take down a new monster for the first time. Getting the tail is so satisfying too.
@JayArr: Cheers buddy. It's an awesome feeling defeating a beastie who has munched on you a couple of times already. That killer blow is always unexpected and a very nice surprise when it hits. Woooh!
@All: How do I get furnishings then? :/ Also, when do I start seeing Adv Armour Spheres? I really need some. D:

You get them by A) Trading with the Argosy B) Having a Felyne in the city "brainstorm" some new furniture for you, or C) Trade for it with the trading post woman.
You'll start seeing Adv Armor Spheres from mining in the Volcano. They're pretty rare, but you'll luck out and find a bunch every now and then. Personally, before I started getting advanced and high rank quests (Where Adv armor spheres are more common, I'd just do the transport Powderstone quest with a Great Jaggi Hat on-the one that gives good luck and is a reward from the Event quest online. I usually get 2-3 spheres as a reward from that.)
LOL Yeah Thunderbugs for sale. People are going broke buying hundreds of them.
@longtimegamer Flash bombs take a bit of skill (but not too much). You have to throw them so that the flash occurs in the enemy's line of sight. Usually it's a better idea to throw the bomb away from the enemy rather than towards them, especially if they're facing you.
@Bloodysaber The Festival of Fear is the HR 30 urgent quest. The event version is much easier though.

I'm pretty sure they're both called that, but I was just calling the status of the city RIGHT NOW the festival of fear... (The sandstorm and awesome sales/discounts).
And I just noticed, there's a HR31 quest called Rumble in the Great Desert which is exactly the same as the Rank 3 Urgent. Seems kinda pointless IMO.
Anyone got tips for getting lots of money? I`m doing various urgent quests and such to try and raise oh 20,000 bucks. I need for armor and weapons that I have the monster parts and ores for, but lack money.

Go through your chest and sell unneeded monster parts.
I do that routinely (Making sure to save a bit of everything, just in case, of course) and I'll jump up 100k zenny with more junk to sell.
@Bloodysaber You didn't understand me lol. I said I know that The Festival of Fear is the name of the current event quest and also the three-star urgent (I'm not just pretty sure because I've finished both of them). If you had gotten to the three-star urgent you'd see that it's called The Festival of Fear because Loc Lac decided to create a celebration out of the hunting of Jhen Mohran. The sandstorm + sales are a result of the Event Quest's festival.
Also, ex-squeeze me but Rumble in the Great Desert is not exactly the same as The Festival of Fear. It's an insanely hard version of it. I get almost OHKO'd from the falling rocks and I'm HR 35. My team lost within 10 minutes lol. So no, not pointless at all.
@Chucko Sell the materials you don't need.I keep at least 10 of every monster material though, in case I need them in the future for forging/upgrading.

I see. I wouldn't know, I just hit HR31 and my party is offline so I haven't had an opportunity to take a stab at it. Was just taking it for face value
@Bloodysaber I can only assume that rare drops are more common the Rumble. Hopefully that's the case. It's a real challenge though!
One can only hope, yeah?
Jhen still won't give me a Dragongem. Only need one and I'm in the clear for a while. Also, finally got that Prize Golden Sword from the trading lady. It's shiny. Never want to see Lagiacrus again, though.
Sheesh how many commercials does this game have? lol Saw some on Youtube, like one of the video comments said, they should just give this guy his own TV show. xD

Keep it PG-13-ish.
I need Armor Sphere + to help upgrade my armor, I just beat Royal Ludroth and getting ready for Barroth (Oh god). I finally caught Peco, got him away from Rathian just long enough to fight him alone (with the exception of two Ludroth's) and hit him hard with the switch-axe and knocked him over, I through up the trap real quick and threw the tranquilizer and got him YES! The switch-axe is my new standard weapon, my medium bow-gun is awesome, but it just wasn't working. And for some reason I got Royal Ludroth down with little trouble. So heres a couple things I need: Super sized Dung Armor Sphere + Anybody know where they are.

You get super sized dung from killing large Apatanoth (or whatever they're called-the large herbivores you see in every level) in free roam. (They come in the claim box).
Armor sphere + comes as quest rewards and can be mined VERY commonly in volcano. You'll stumble across a few before that, but you'll be swimming in them before long. (I have over 200 unused atm and I've fully used armor + on 8 sets of armor :l)
DUDE I REPELLED A JHEN MORHAN!!!! It was awesome/epic!! I just spammed cannonballs at it and my teammates attacked it`s weak spots. And you wanna know the real surprise? My teammates didn`t have a high HR! Not to boast, but I was the highest rank. Man it was fun. Also, I got the switch-axe in the crystal path series. It rocks. Now all I need is some better armor and I`ll be set(for now lol).
