It may not have been discontinued in the UK but in York neither Game nor Gamestation had a copy of it on their shelves last time I checked, I guess they need the shelf space for all the terrible games that give the Wii a bad name.
I should pick this up. I own all three of the original versions, but having them on one disc and with motion controls for the first two would be a dream.
(Personally, I found the first one was the only one worth having, but the control scheme was best in the third one. Combining the controls of the third game with everything else of the first sounds like a dream. I'd rather this be New Play Control! honestly.)
I ordered it from Buy.com when the news hit. Target, Bestbuy, Amazon, and Gamestop were all already out online, so I was glad to find it still at full price (new on ebay was $60-70). I figured all the stores would have sold out by the time I got home in the summer unfortunately. Luckily, it's at my boyfriend's place, ready and waiting to be played. I'm sure for people who still want it, it won't be impossible to find it used, but I wanted to get it new, so I'd have the case, instruction manual, and art book, as opposed to possibly getting stuck with just a scratched up disk.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
