Topic: Metroid Other M on sale $4.99

I ordered this game on Black Friday and they and they cancelled my order since they were sold out

I picture that as she is blasting her last few shots into him. But if something keeps coming back to haunt you would you not freak out and be like WTF is going on, this thing will not give up trying to friggin kill me?!?

That is silly that they "sold out" because it is everywhere still. Are you referring to the $4.99 price? Anyway, you should get it even at full price.

Prime's opening is actually only her second encounter with Ridley in the games. But she does seems pretty angry in that scene.

I plan on getting it. The really sad thing is that they E-mailed me saying I could pick it up at a local store. And then 3 hours later cancelled the order.

Man, I was going to make a topic about this when I saw it on the GameStop website. Too bad it was already made.

If only the cut scenes didn't take up half of that whole 10 hour game.

Metroid Prime 3 has some better graphic effects, some better music, and it's nearly 3 times as big and is part of an epic trilogy.
However, I like Other M better because it is a Metroid game and not a fps and it is part of an even better quintology. It could have been longer though. The length of one Prime game is great for a Metroid game.

And yeah I thought the voice acting in Other M is pretty real and the story and scenery is immersive. The gorgeous cutscenes are some of the best ever seen. And I really liked how close it was to my all-time fav Super Metroid, all in all a worthy sequel without a doubt.

You guys turned this thread from discussion about a sale into an argument about the voice acting So in the spirit of the sale I'd like to point out that Pilotwings resort, Nintendogs and Steel Diver are now on sale for $5.

Why are those games discounted so much? I was at Walmart today (working) and saw them at the normal $39 price.

Speaking of prices, PS Vita games will retail for a maximum price of $50. Just pointing that out.

Fun fact: there's a stage of Ninja Gaiden 2 left in the code of Other M.

The first boss arena from Ninja Gaiden II, complete with textures for the helipad and helicopter but no tower. It was used to test the realtime motion cutscene animations. Ninja Gaiden II was Team Ninja's previous game.

$5 sounds about right for this game as its a snooze fest.
