Topic: Little King's Story cut to $29.99 at GameStop

Does this give you incentive to pick it up (if you haven't already?). I have it with the little Onii squishee, but I'm sure there are people here who will get it since the price went down.

That's sad...games only get price cuts like that when they don't sell well.

Unless it's actually a one-week sale. Are you sure which it is? Granted, it seems a bit too good to be a sale, but Gamestop likes throwing those curveballs lately, so you never know...

Anyway, this game was totally worth the $50, so people should definitely give it a try at $30! And I REALLY need to play it some more...

Wait, is that a typo or does it actually mean GameStop? GameStop is a terrible store, I'm surprised.

Man! What sucks is I was there just a few mins before they closed last night, with some used games (last day to trade them back) because I wanted to see if there was something I wanted there.
Of course because I had no time I didn't see this. Now I'll have to spend extra on this. Don't have much money 4 the weekend, but could take back Echoes of time. Of course I could hint to my brothers and such and hooe they get this for my b-day Oct. 2nd.

@KS8- My gamestop apparently didn't know it was on sale, but looked it up and varified it.

When I got mine at Game Stop it was $39.99, or maybe $34.99. There's a chance my copy was priced incorrectly, though.

It's a great deal, regardless of what its original price was. Anyone who passes it up now had better have a darned good reason.

I've got to wait. I just used my debit card for echoes of time. Could get it monday, I guess (actually probably tuesday, when I'm in town). Be just my luck that they'd run out by then. Almost hate to get it myself as I have a birthday coming up, but knowing my luck, I wouldn't get it.

I'm totally going to get this now. Muramasa and Prime blew my budget, but now I feel compelled.. my poor backlog continues to grow... Hmm, maybe I'll try longtimegamers plan to acquire it..

Because its a published price change, some stores will probably allow a price-match (like Best Buy). I think you have to get the original flyer though and show the store.

Why don't good games sell?

Knuckles, what store? In my area, it's $60. That means the total price is $67.80, which I'm not paying. Wii games are so expensive.

@Odnetnin: Lack of advertising. Like I've said around NLife before, unless you read Nintendo Power or frequent NLife, you probably knew nothing or next to nothing about Little King's Story before release. It also never got to hold a properly prominent place on Gamestop shelves (or at least not the one I work at), never appearing in the New Release section at all (while games from months beforehand were company mandated to remain...I wish they'd just call it the "hot titles" section, because that's how it's treated)!

Tell your manager to make a "awesome but overlooked" games section, STAT.
