Even if it isn't, 300 points per track isn't actually that bad, given you get an entire choreographed routine with it.
That said, the Katy Perry routine isn't that great. I'm not talking about the music, the dance itself. I'd put it at the weakest DLC track to date (possibly why it's the free one).
I think 300 is a little expensive, but of course reasonable. Guitar hero's got free stuff and packs all at great prices, but GH is so famous and JD isn't.

300 points is what, $3 in the US, $4.50 in Australia?
Remember, this isn't just music - Ubisoft has to hire dancers and go through the process of choreographing and entire routine, which is actually very time-consuming. $4.50 is pretty good value in that context.
It looks good if you want a dancing game in which you actually dance something other than the Stomping Maniac. At least it works and does what it does well. And as long as it does that, and people have fun playing it (alcohol not included), then its a great game. I mean, its not like its a broken piece of software in which your goal is to swing the remote aimlessly without accomplishing anything. And Im sure WaltzElf will enjoy it due to his radient passion for the dance.
To the people that have this game - what's everyone's favourite routine? I like the Reggaeton style one, and Born to be Wild is great fun from the DLCs.
