Scored higher than Shiren: The Wanderer and Excitebike: World Rally. Once again, reviewers disappoint me.

You don realise that people play games for fun right? Personally I reckon that Shiren and Excitebike sound as much fun as feeding my testicles to a tiger compared to making a tit of myself with a roomful of mates after a few drinks, but then again again, I'm not a hardcore gamer, I play my games for fun.

ITT - hardcore games wonder at the popularity of a casual game.

What surprises me is that hardcore gamers still don't understand casual games. At all. Just Dance 2 is quite good for what it is. It's the same reason that Dance Central is an absolutely amazing experience, even though it doesn't involve headshots and online cussing from kids who have yet to enter puberty.

I'm gonna tell my 12-year old cousin that. He got a Wii last Christmas while I got an XBOX 360. He thought the Wii was amazing. Then he got COD 4 on it and suddenly wanted an XBOX. Now he has a 360 with COD 4, COD 5, COD 6 and Halo 3 ODST, and has barely touched his Wii since because he thinks the games are 'for kids', even though he is a kid (a younger kid than me even). I like the 360's games but I think the Wii has great games too, whatever they're about. Now I wish I'd gotten a Wii for Christmas.

Sounds like your cuz lieks FPS

But you can't blam him, The Wii has not live up to its Hype, and it has been lacking alot of good games.
You won't see Shovleware games on a 360.

Its not like back in the days, when Nintendo Gold Seal of Quality meant that the game your are playing is the most awesome game ever.
But if your not an nintendo fan, any game from nintendo is just looks lame.
Just look at Kirby Epic Yarn, its a Fun to thoses who are Nintendo fans But, to everyone else, it just a Pink girly Thing made of Yarn, because Nintendo is too cheap to make a Real game that is not in 2D.

No matter how good Nintendo games are, they still going to be judge by the way it looks.

@WaltzElf: since you clearly understood what he was saying enough to respond to it, making fun of his spelling ability is not necessary.

@JumpMad: Waltz is somewhat correct in that the Official Nintendo Seal meant nothing in terms of the content of a game and how 'good' it was. All that little gold seal meant was that the publishers of said game had gone through the proper licensing process with Nintendo (and in theory, that Nintendo had made sure the game would actually work on an NES).

Excuse me?

Not lived up to its hype? Maybe by your standards, but I believe its sales numbers say otherwise. Also, you're not looking hard enough, there IS shovelware on the 360, just like every other system on the market.

The Seal of Quality never meant that it was a good game. It simply meant that the game will work on the system it was made for with little to no problems.

Too cheap? I beg to differ! What about Zelda, Metroid, Mario Galaxy, etc? Btw, what is a real game?

Really? Is that why Kirby's Epic Yarn got a 91 on Metacritic? It must look good then

Because Kirby is pink, he must be girly.

Oh, and you have no idea how much effort Nintendo put into the presentation of Kirby's Epic Yarn. That is some serious graphics work there, in the same vein as Jet Grind Radio's revolutionary cel-shading.

Whoa!
You guys lost the point I was getting at here.
I love my 2D games, but other people see 2D and think Cheap, like (why is it 2D, why can they make it 3D like a real game.)
The 360 rarely has any game that are 2D.

@HolyMackerel
What I ment by " Kirby is pink, he must be girly" Is People judge a Book by there cover, this is also why alot of Games that look cool, end up being really bad and boring, From a game that looks like it came from a Child Story book, to be really cool and fun.

I hope you guys understand what I mean now.
The last thing i want to do is Bash Nintendo in a Nintendo Fan site......

Honestly JumpMad, if YOU enjoy those games, don't worry about what "other people" might be saying. It's your opinion. Enjoy the games you enjoy. :3

@JumpMad I got what you were saying. Nowadays most people think the wii sucks and if they look at a game and say oh yeah that looks like a nintendo game and it looks like it sucks. They don't even bother to give it a shot but the knock off on Kinect looks incredible! If you look at most of the gaming community people look at nintendo games and say 95% of them suck and the ones that do get good reviews are flukes. That's why I come here.

@JM: You just forgot to mention that you were quoting the typical hardcore gamer, which really isn't the majority anymore

I was a hardcore gamer for long enough to realize that it was a pretty terrible use of my time. These days, I don't have the time, money or patience to dedicate to games I used to, so if I'm going to buy a game it had damn well better be entertaining. The more I read about this game, the more I'm thinking I'll probably get my money's worth if I end up buying it because it'll be a lot of fun. I wonder how many games I've played over the years where I didn't stop to wonder if I was actually enjoying myself, or if I was just trying to be "hardcore".

Been playing this a bit, as I got set a copy for review.

I didn't play the first, but this is a seriously well made game. Great party fun in multiplayer, and good in single player too - play this game in the spirit it was intended and you'll sweat more than Wii Fit ever got you too.

DLC has serious promise, too, with some good tracks already on there. I hope they support it further. I suspect they will.

There's another three tracks put up of the online shop, for anyone who didn't know already:

V V Brown’s Crying Blood, (Fast rock and roll-style track)
The Reverend Horatio Duncan & Amos Sweets’ Down By The Riverside (Gospel dancing, new genre for Just Dance 2)
Futebol Crazy by The World Cup Girls (Cheerleading-style dancing with soccer theme)

The DLC for this game is seriously awesome. I've got what, 60 tracks now? Some of those DLC tracks - Maniac and Professor Pumplestickle, are indeed better than what's on the main disc.

I reckon Futebol Crazy will become a favourite, too.

SuperMarioFan96

Is that Katy Perry song still free DLC or does it cost something now? Yeah yeah I know, almost all of you think she's awful but whatever. I know it was free when the game first came out but is it going to stay free?
