I just looked at the Japanese VC, and they have more than twice as many VCA games as we do! Come on, NOA, give us some arcade games already. Space Invaders, Pac Man, Donkey Kong, anything! Even Pong would be nice.

well all those games can be easily emulated, so its kinda pointless to spend money on them

i'd buy arcade versions of pacman, space invaders and asteroids if they were $5/each.

How can Nintendo give us Space Invaders and Pac-Man? Those games don't belong to Nintendo. Its not up to them when those games come out.

Donkey Kong on the other hand...

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

Donkey Kong I agree with. As for Pac-Man, I'd rather Namco put Pac-Man Championship Edition on WiiWare. I'd love to play that with a good D-pad.

I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.

Yep, they sure do and yes, that's one of the reasons I'm glad I have a Japanese Wii...

I'm hoping some Namco arcade games finally head west this year because of Pac-Man's 30th Anniversary.

Dig Dug is on Namco Museum Remix on the Wii and there's some other tasty treats on there as well!

Spending money on them is actually legal!

Yeah and you'll often find more work goes into tweaking the controls for a dedicated release than a "one-size-fits-all" interface that may or may not work with your game/controller/set-up which is supported by people in their spare time.

No question, if I have a choice I'll pay the money to know I'm getting something that works over messing with configuration files, joypad calibration and hunting for roms following updates.

Having said that I give all due props to the emulator devs because in many cases that's the only way to play a lot of these games.
