In regards to America, there seems to be very few games that can be released on the VC right now if we take what's been released in Europe already and whats been ESRB rated. I'm expecting they'll go back to one game a week sometime and regular C64 games will appear. There's not that many other European only games that they can release, America already has almost all of them. Shanghai II and Alex Kidd in Shinobi World are definite releases soon (I'm expecting one to be released on Monday alongside Pilotwings). Also a lot of the games on the coming soon list that have been rated ages ago will probably finally make an appearance.
I think while games won't be as high profile as Smash Bros. for a while, things may still prove interesting (if only for getting long awaited games... not Earthbound though).
As for Europe and Australia... we have a lot of catching up to do with America right now and we seem to be doing so very slowly (thanks to VC-less weeks being depressingly common).
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
I have a feeling sega will release SMS the ninja and we will either see the nes's double dragon 2 or the arcade version. It has to happen.
Cannibalism...(But it's LOVE BABY!) Hear the demo at www.myspace.com/staleevolution Don't bother if you can't stomach a little salt with your rock and roll though!
I hope they will bring Breath of Fire or EarthBound Zero to the Virtual Console.

For January, I'm predicting Alex Kidd In Shinobi World, Sonic & Knuckles, and Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye. And considering Final Fantasy IV was announce for an VC release here this winter, I hope we get that too to accompady Smash Table Tennis. January 11th: Alex Kidd In Shinobi World January 18th: Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye, hopefully Final Fantasy IV too, but one game-week are the norms, so I doubt it. January 25th: Impossible Mission
@cheetahman91: If we get an Commodore 64 game once ever two months, since we didn't get any in December, I guess that rules out Sonic & Knuckles sadly.
Alex Kid in Shinobi World Impossible Mission Final Fantasy II (IV)
I think this is what North America's January line up is going to look like. Other possible releases are Shanghai II Dragon's Eye, Sonic & Knuckles, Kirby Super Star and any of the 10 Europe exclusive C64 games. I chose Impossible Mission in my solid predictions because it has an ESRB rating.
As for Europe, I think a storm of quality VC content is on the way, mostly import titles but very soon.
Future Wii purchases: Super Mario Galaxy 2 Metroid: Other M Zelda Wii New Super Mario Bros. Wii Sin and Punishment 2
@Bass X0: But why not? The game is available in Europe, so I wouldn't be surprise if we saw it in the next few months.
But then so is Mario's Super Picross. And America hasn't seen that yet either. Until it gets ESRB rated it could be a long time before they get released in America. And even when they are ESRB rated, it could still take a long time.
I'm now expecting Shadow Dancer and Alex Kidd in Shinobi World to come out over the next two weeks.
