@110percentful: I totally agree with that. As an owner of both, the DSi is clearly the better handheld.
Isn't it ironic how the gaming press keep pushing the Xbox 360 and PS3 as the most successful consoles of this generation? Talk about the blind leading the blind...
Isn't it ironic that the Nintendo 64 hasn't received any third-party support on the Virtual Console, yet Sega is releasing VC games like there's no tommorow?
Not really, since the N64 had terrible 3rd party support back in its day, and Sega never put out any games on the N64, what with them actually having their own console back then.
RAREWARE was amazing, but Nintendo sold them to microsoft EDIT: @Holy+Mackeral whoah, I just totally thought you were JayArr. BTW, did your avi just blink, or is it my eyes since I'm not wearing my contacts?
@warioswoods: it's the free ride you accept after having paid for a ticket, only to realize halfway down the line that you're being taken in the opposite direction from where you wanted to go.

Nice. We need to rewrite the entire song one day. I'm not sure that it will be singable, though.
that's all right, at least it'll be somewhat accurate :3

It's like rain on your wedding day. No wait, that's just unfortunate, not ironic.
isn't it ironic that a song about irony features little in the way of accurate examples? i hate that song D:
Alanis: Isn't it ironic.... don't you think? A little too ironic? And I really do think. Chunky: You're an idiot, and I wish my home town wasn't the same as your last name (yes, I live in a place called Morisset, just different spelling)

The typical PS3/360 gamer probably has more games per system than Nintendo does. Most people buy a Wii, and then what? They buy wii fit, wii sports resort, some first party games like mario and zelda and then let it collect dust. A console is only as good as the games it has for it, and clearly Nintendo is lacking in that department.
Now the nintendo-lifers around here is probably the exception to the rule, but who'd guess otherwise since it's a Nintendo fan website.
There he goes, Firkraag. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. - My VGscore
Name some ironic things about gaming here, I will start the show :
1. 'Everyone' is sick of 'Rail Shooters' on Wii - and yet Star Fox Wii is one of the most 'missed' games for the system.
I guess if all shmups are rail shooters, then yeah Star Fox is a rail shooter.
a rail shooter is something along the lines of Time Crisis, House of the Dead, and Jurassic Park the arcade game. your set on a predetermined path, all you have to do is shoot the hell out of things
I'm not sure if that statement meant that you agreed with the OP that Starfox is a rail shooter, or agreed with my sarcastic comment that it's not a rail shooter. Starfox has a predetermined path, sure, but you don't just aim and shoot. You move around, boost, do barrel rolls, and all sorts of stuff that make it much more like a shoot-em-up than a rail shooter.
I think calling Starfox a rail shooter would be akin to calling Gradius a rail shooter.
