Isn't it ironic how hardcore Nintendo fans whine and moan about there not being enough hardcore games on Wii, but when a company actually makes some they don't buy them?
@Ricardo91: That's really ironic. This is an bad habit that they took from the Sonic and Dragonball fanbase, and they successfully manage to multiply that.
Isn't ironic that Sony/Microsoft fanboys say how "Motion controls are for casual gamers" and now they are getting the motion controls?
except that you forgot that microsoft fanboys are not actually making the decision for motion controls. ill bet a lot of them are actually AGAINST what the companies are doing

Name some ironic things about gaming here, I will start the show :
1. 'Everyone' is sick of 'Rail Shooters' on Wii - and yet Star Fox Wii is one of the most 'missed' games for the system.
I guess if all shmups are rail shooters, then yeah Star Fox is a rail shooter.
a rail shooter is something along the lines of Time Crisis, House of the Dead, and Jurassic Park the arcade game. your set on a predetermined path, all you have to do is shoot the hell out of things

Isn't it ironic that the Nintendo 64 hasn't received any third-party support on the Virtual Console, yet Sega is releasing VC games like there's no tommorow?

That statement would actually make sense if everyone was exactly the same. However, that isn't the case. "Everyone" isn't sick of rail shooters, people who don't like rail shooters are sick of rail shooters. Star Fox is the "most missed" franchise because it has a lot of fans on this site. Sure, it seems weird when you generalize it like that, but once you look a little closer, and actually use your head, it all makes sense.

Light gun games are what people are tired of on Wii. Unless anyone here has imported Sin and Punishment 2, I don't think there is anything like Star Fox on Wii yet. I could not care less about the Resident Evil or Dead Space games on Wii, but I'd be quite pleased to hear of a first-party Star Fox.

Not really, since the N64 had terrible 3rd party support back in its day, and Sega never put out any games on the N64, what with them actually having their own console back then.
