How about no, instead they make more deals with third parties to get non-Nintendo games exclusive on Wii example: Metal Gear Wii from Konami, Street Fighter 4 Wii edition from Capcom, Final Fantasy 7 and above remake Wii exclusive from Square-Enix etc.
Wii definitely needs a unique Street Fighter game. I know TvC is coming, but I just don't think the Versus series holds a candle to Street Fighter. I'd love to see them take the approach Square has with Final Fantasy, releasing the supposedly more "mature" titles on the other two platforms and creating a unique series for Nintendo's platforms... except don't make the unique series suck. That's the key part of the plan that Square forgot.
I don't see why they'd put Metal Gear on Wii though. IR pointing would give the impression that the game is more about shooting than it is supposed to be, and the game's scale would have to be drastically cut back to fit on a single Wii disc, I would think.

Metal Gear on Wii? No. No, no no. That would be awful.
The rest you said? Yes. But SF4? We`re getting Tatsunoko vs. Capcom this month.
One franchise I personally would like to see on Wii, has to be Lost Planet or Elder Scrolls(I can dream can`t I?).

On the Metal Gear Solid part Adam, it really just depends on which one your talking about. 1, 2, or 3 would fit fine. 4? Never.

I'd like to see Nintendo trade Animal Crossing to Sony for LittleBigPlanet. It'd be interesting to see where the two companies take the other's franchise to. As for a Nintendo and Microsoft trade, I got nothing.

Well, yes, the old ones would fit, but I have no use for a lazy remake. The games aren't that old. No need to remake them already, especially when 1 was already remade for Gamecube. I was under the impression we were talking about new games, and the progression for MGS is clear: bigger, bigger, bigger. Nintendo's little Wii unfortunately does not fit into that scheme.
Of course, they could always take it in a different direction specifically for Wii. Not sure how I missed that possibility after suggesting the very same be done for Street Fighter. I guess I just liked MGS4 so much more than SF4 that I couldn't imagine anything different.
I'd trade Tatsunoko vs. Capcom for Soul Calibur 4 (as long as they provide a GameCube/Classic controller option)
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
Nintendo trades Kid Icarus to Microsoft for a Kirby Puckett Rookie Card and a bag of beef jerkey, Microsoft gets the makers of Shadow Complex (one of my GOY for 2009. Worth every penny of the 15 bucks to download) to create a new Kid Icarus game with the condition it can appear on both the 360 and the Wii.
