Topic: If Nintendo - Microsoft - Sony could trade a franchise?

Hey, just a little hypothetical:

Say Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft sat down to make trades, like sports franchises do. What do you think would be thrown around? Something realistic that may work for both sides.

1) Nintendo trades Starfox/The Conduit for Sony's Little Big Planet.
2) Nintendo trades Madworld for Sony's Flowers
3) Nintendo trades Metroid to Sony, F-Zero to Microsoft for sole right's to Final Fantasy (I know Sony and Microfot don't "own" it, but supose Nintendo could get sole rights with this trade.

I could hypothetically see Nintendo taking up Ratchet & Clank or Sly Cooper(I get the feeling that the Zelda guys really want to make a stealth game, what with all the stealthy portions in the recent Zelda games), while Microsoft could always do wonders with the Star Fox series. I dunno about Sony, though. Maybe Banjo-Kazooie or Perfect Dark.

Nintendo Gets Kameo while Microsoft gets metroid

But really its hard to do since Microsoft is really lacking on the First party games (even though the ones that come out are really good and they are still pretty young in the bussiness) But i want sega to go belly up and be bought by nintendo or a 3 part ownership between the big 3.

I'd trade F-Zero with sony for LittleBigPlanet (or Uncharted if they wouldn't go for that)
I'd give nearly anything to Microsoft if they'd give back Banjo-Kazooie.

Sony and Microsoft barely have any franchises Nintendo might want.

trade conduit, not starfox, f zero trade all you want but metorid for final fantasy, dont make me laugh/

metroid is one of nitendos bugest franchises. why trade that?

f-zero for little big planet(although lbp could barely run on wii and not even enoguh disc space) or uncharted(still to under powered, would ruin the whole franchise). microsoft doesnt have anything to offer up for a trade, they lack in first party titles. i wouldnt trade ANYTHING for halo or gears, not worth leaving mario, link, samus, sackboy, drake, or any of those characters for master cheif or marcus fenix.

And you'll all wish you hadn't traded 'em when Nintendo releases the "Wii 2" with HD video and better online support.

Man, I wouldn't want Nintendo to trade off any of their IPs because I'm 100% certain both Microsoft and Sony will mess them up completely. Especially Metroid.

Agreed. Nintendo would mess up some of their franchises also, and in the end, it just leaves everyone unhappy.

Well for a start Nintendo doesn't own MadWorld and I'm not exactly sure how much of the rights Sony and Microsoft own of their games either. Most of their games are just signed exclusives and are owned by third partys. I remember when Sony's console mascot was Crash Bandicoot (then later Spyro) but since they didn't own them out right they eventually appeared on Nintendo consoles anyway.

There's a couple of games I'd say would stay with Sony and Microsoft, Halo for one, but there's not much else I'd say would remain exlusive forever.

Yep i agree on Banjoo-kazooie, although i wouldn't go as far as to give nearly anything haha. Banjoo-kazooie is the only game i can seriously see (back) on a Nintendo Console.

Give F-Zero to Sony. They have Wipeout, so I could see them doing great with it.
Sony gives Microsoft inFamous, I could see them doing awesome with that.
Microsoft gives Nintendo Viva Pinata. I don't want it, but the way Nintendo is going, they would.

infamous is good were it is already and plus microsoft has prototype(which isnt too good and is also on ps3).

yeah they would make mario have guns and uncharted become a mini game mario party. and halo would be about saving a princess with the energy sword.

How about instead of inFamous, Shadow of the Colossus? I know that Sony is making a movie of it, but no sequel was announced, and I doubt they have plans for one.
