The only top-notch high budget JRPG for the wii in North America is Arc Rise Fantasia IMO Tales of Symphonia Dawn of a New World was good but not an A-AAA game I just really hope that Tales of Graces Last Story Xenoblade Dragon Quest X & other great JRPGs come out here in the US how do the rest of you feel about the lack of JRPGs here & the possability of games like these being released here??
Well... Seeing Tales of Graces out of Japan is pretty difficult. Namco told that it's not in their plans becaude they aren profitable enough. In the other hands, there is a fan-made translation patch:

About Xenoblade, it will come to USA with the name Monado: Beginning of the World. At least it was on recent schedule listings.
Too bad the Translation isn't by Absolute Zero. They've done a grand job so far. Not sure about these guys.
Anyways, all I want is Tales of Grace, The Last Story, and Xenoblade. Also planning on grabbing Arc Rise Fantasia, Chocobo Dungeon, Rune Factory Frontier, Dokopon Kingdom, Shiren the Wanderer, Phantom Brave: We Meet Again, and Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love. Don't need much else.
I wonder why there is still no info on DQ X??? I just hope it does not end up being released on the 360 or PS3 instead
Well... Level-5 is going to unveil four new games in their own event in a couple of weeks. Maybe we will se Dragon Quest X (confirmed to be Wii exclusive).
Trust me, most of JRPGs that don;t get translated... never should be. Most of them are so core Japan that the humour, plot strands and characters would not be understood in the west at all (pokemon, in fact, is an example of that).

Well, Disgaea is an example of extreme japanese core audience, and there are totally hilarious (except Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories, that one didint have a really funny plot, it was just very average).

Yuji Horii confirmed just the other week that DQX was still for the Wii. Given the fact that DQIX is the most successful entry in the series the only other place it could possibly go is to the 3DS.... and there's always DQXI for that.
Please sign the petition to get Nintendo to integrate Social Features directly in the Switch OS/Hardware:

Disgaea's oddballness is pretty generic, though. It's equally amusing to just about anyone. There are plenty of Japanese only JRPGs that only the Japanese will ever 'get' - I promise you this.
What is Eldar Saga? It should be out now in EU, published by Rising Star Games.
Is that a good RPG?
The game's US name (was renamed for EU release) got utterly woeful reviews.
That said, it me it looks appealing, kinda like how King's Field IV got woeful reviews, but I loved it. It seems to have a similar graphical style and so on. I'll be buying this one.
That's it, and while the reviews of the game are pretty horrible, as I said earlier - so were the reviews for King's Field IV, and I loved that game.
I personally are looking forward to buying this.
Yeah, except King's Field IV was actually kind of interesting. Elder Saga was just really vanilla, and the only things that stood out were some of the more annoying aspects of the game. I dunno, I like King's Field, but I just found this game to be a real waste of my time. At least the controls weren't as bad as the PSP game, but I still had to wrestle with the camera, if I recall correctly. I mean hell, you can still get it if you want, but I'm just saying, this isn't really like King's Field, and I implore you to try it before you drop some of your cold hard cash on it. Even trying the demo of the PSP version to see if you can get into the basic mechanics would be helpful.

Are you all sure they're talking about DQX and not "the next Dragon Quest game" on the Wii. All I've read or seen of a DQ game is Dragon Quest Victory and it's not supposed to be an RPG, it looks like a Dragon Quest flavored Yu-Gi-Oh! game.
