Topic: How do you sort your games?

The original topic is buried in the archives somewhere, and I'm not about to dig it out.

I'm now using the SD card.

Page 1: NES
Page 2: Master System
Page 3: SNES
Page 4: Genesis
Page 5: N64
Page 6: Other (currently occupied by Bomberman '94)
Page 7: WiiWare
Page 8: channels

On the SD card? Top row: Channels. No particular order since I never use any of them
Middle Row: Wiiware, in order when I bought them from left to right
Bottom row: VC, in order of most likely to play from left to right

Main menu: All VC go after the Channels, in order of most likely to use.

First, by system (all on my SD card): NES, SMS, Genesis, SNES, TG16, N64, WiiWare. Then, alphabetical within each system.

As for the channels on the system itself, they're ordered by frequency of use.

@brainofj: good idea on alphabetical. I'll have to do that when I get the chance.

By system, starting with Nintendo's consoles (of course) chronologically. NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, Arcade, WiiWare.
Within each system, I group the games by genre, just like with my games on the shelf. WiiWare I group by release date.

Except every time you get a new game, you have to reorganize everything. Trust me, that's why I stopped doing anything in alphabetical order.

The channels, since I never use them, will be put beyond "other". I might move Bomberman '94, though, since it is a VC game and I like to play it sometimes.

NES, SNES, everything else, N64, WW and unused channels.

All of my Virtual Console and most of my WiiWare are in my SD Card. I arrange them by chronigical order by WiiWare first followed by the Virtual Console.

I leave the 4 games that I am most likely to play on the main menu, one from each video game era (8-bit, 16-bit, 64-bit, WiiWare 128-bit) So, its like:

Top Row: Disc Channel / Mii Channel / Wii Shop Channel / Weather Forecast Channel
Middle Row: Photo Channel / Check Mii Out Channel / Nintendo Channel / News Channel
Bottom Row: Mega Man 2 (8-bit) / Super Metroid (16-bit) / Zelda: Ocarina of Time (64-bit) / LostWinds 2 (128-bit)

On my SD Card Menu, I sort them by video game era, one on each page, so its like:

Page 1- 8-bit games (NES, Master System, Commodore 64)
Page 2- 16-bit games (SNES, Genesis, TG16)
Page 3- 64-bit games (N64)
Page 4- WiiWare
Page 5- Channels

If I get the channels again, I'm leaving them on my Wii.

stupid question but how can you arrange your stuff? is it a drag and click method? again, sorry but i don't know.

I have my games organized by franchise like all street fighters together all Zelda ect ect.

I have all my games organized by series.

I order them by series.

1. Point the cursor at the game/channel you wish to move
2. Press and hold A
3. Move the game/channel to the place you wish to put it
4. Release A
5. Repeat for all games you wish to organize

I don't reorder mine - they're in the order of purchase. Even the demos and whatnot.

i order them by VC games first, the wii ware games the all the useless channels i might need one day....

i sort them by wiiware and virtual console then i sort them by how much i play them

on my dsi i sort by games and apps the i sort by how much i play them/ use them
