Whoopsies! There goes the thought of giving you praise for your memorable review and assigning it to another reviewer. Guess I had Snowboard Riot on my mind or something? I dunno, can't explain it. Either way, I did mean you. XD
@Dazza There is a story there. The short version...I co-wrote a Blog back in the olden days before the word 'blog' was even invented and we each had our own avatar and wrote in-character. Mine was a cranky sock puppet who was alternately angry at Pets.com and The Simpsons for stealing his look/name. And from this perspective I would write about what was going on in the news. Ah, to be in college in the 90's. A time when putting something on the internet was its own reward!
Sadly, the guy in our group who was hosting the website forgot to renew the domain name this year and we lost it to a squatter. Of course, we hadn't posted anything new in years so no one really noticed.
But thank you for asking, I love telling that story to anyone gullible enough to ask! Perhaps it's time I made a new Avatar more relevant to this website?
