Topic: Favourite obscure Wii game?

I just purchased this from Amazon earlier this month. I'm really enjoying it as well, the brand new copy I purchased is completely worth the $12.00 I spent on it. I hope to get in some online playtime with you in the near future Ragnar. I think It's hilarious that GameStop is still charging $40.00 for a new copy of this. (<:

Impossible Mission, It's a great game but I still have never actually seen it being sold for Wii in a store. I bought mine on Ebay.

i'm looking EVERYWHERE for it but it's always been sold out.

@Waveboy yes, i too liked Elebits. the only thing that kinda turned me off was the physics. _{not to mention the graphics are relatively bland today, but that's forgiveable given how much there is on screen and stuff} Seriously though, when you picck up and throw a house or a crane, it shouldn't bounce off the asphalt like a rubber ball would. That fact alone kinda ruined the immersion for me, though I still had fun with it, I'll admit. :3

@WaveBoy, I just purchased a new copy of Elebits. Mainly for my son, but I might actually play it too. I saw the screenshots you posted in this thread and I immediately thought of him. Thanks for unearthing this burried gem of a game. GameSpot rated it at 7.5 and IGN awarded it an 8.3. I really think he will enjoy the gameplay mechanics. And the best part of it is, it was only $13.50 w/shipping at Amazon. I should receive it soon and I'll let you know what I think, I mean... what my son thinks. (<:

I'm gonna say MLB Power Pros 2008. In my opinion, it's way more fun to play than any of the MLB 2K or MLB The Show games.

It's not really all that obscure, but you never see any posts associated with it.

Yeah, Klonoa is probably the most obscure game I have and it's pretty damn good.

If we're restricted to retail Wii games then I'd have to say Geometry Wars is my favourite. I have the DS version also but the Wii version runs a lot smoother and looks better. There are heaps of different challenges, its fun to chase down high scores and it looks pretty damn good. What's not to like?

If we can include WiiWare then I'm going for Swords and Soldiers

Okami and Muramasa: the Demon Blade were both fantastic games, although Okami does have a huge fan following.

Muramasa is definitely one of my favourite third party Wii games.
Loved it.
