Can everybody in this thread do me a big favour please and post no further. Every time you do, it appears on the front page, and I die a little inside. Thanks in advance.

@THENAMESNORM: You mean Nick with the crescent moon icon? Yeah he’s tough, only managed to beat him one time while racing against the best Excitebots racer I know, Hammer with the black smiley icon.

Yeah that's him!! Closest I got was around 5 seconds behind him, not sure how many stars but wasn't really paying attention as it was my first races!! But it's great to see that even though he is clearly an ACE Excitebots racer and is miles better than me he always wanted a rematch, and wasn't even betting too many stars on himself! Too many game I've played people just don't want to play again. (FIFA!!!!!!!!!!!)

It finally came! I've only played three races and it's already better than Mario Kart Wii and one of my favorite games on the system. I will post my friend code when I beat the School Cup.

Anyone still play this game? I want to get some online races before starting school next week.

Well you can't bet stars in online friend races but you can attach stars to replay videos or challenges and send it to those on your friend's list.

I still have like 70k stars left over.

I picked this up Saturday, unfortunately I also picked up Zack and Wiki at the same time and haven't even touched Excitebots yet. It's so nice to get a couple of games and have your only complaint being that they are so good you can't try the other sooner.

I just got this game last week, love playing it. I only have one question, why is it easier to find a random match on Excitebots than SSBB

When I've got a spare 10min. it's still nice to try to get those Bs and Cs turned into As and Ss -- Mexico and Guatemala in Gold Cup are really kicking my ass!

Grabbed this game off of Newegg for $19.99, and it was the Wii Wheel bundle! Haven't opened it and played it yet though.. I'm still in game-overload from my birthday and Christmas. I am looking forward to playing it at some point though!

I also got the Wheel bundle. At first I thought it was just a gimmick, but I'm definitely a Wii Wheel convert now; wouldn't play the game any other way.

Hey Sean I've sent you a replay of Gold Guatemala (S rank in Super Excite) with 9500 star reward attached to it. I believe I sent you the Gold Mexico replay titled "Tree Runs" already.

Wow, thanks Ray! I'll fire that baby up tonight. I watched your video, but watching and doing are two different things! I'll have to review them both for technique. That's a great feature they added which I didn't even realise existed until you sent me your runs.

I finished Excite Truck recently (except for Mirror Mode), and then started ExciteBots. Now I am working on the School Cup of EB. When I complete this I should be able to go online and try that mode.

EB is a Great game so far, a few tracks in. I'm sad to leave behind Excite Truck which was a really great game. But this has "more going on" // more stuff happening on screen and with your vehicle. I think it kind of makes Excite Truck obsolete, as in I won't feel like going back to it. I will miss the comparative calmness of Excite Truck, where there wasn't so much variety to focus on (just go fast, jump high, and do some air twists and tree runs).

EB has a lot more motion-control, variety of control schemes like running and rotating around the bars, plus those little side games like the soccer ball are pretty cool. All this side stuff is not as weird as I thought it would be from the game description. It kind of comes naturally, for the most part. Some of those bars you swing around are unfamiliar motions to learn tho.

OK, I will try the Wheel, which I already own from Mario Kart. I've been NOT using the wheel in Excite Truck, cuz it seemed easier to do the Air Spins without the cumbersome wheel, just a flick of the Wiimote.

There's a different mode for Wheel use, and I find it a lot easier to do the spins than in Excite Truck.

I recently learned that Nintendo will no longer be shipping Excitebots: Trick Racing nor does it seem like they will release it in EU. http://wii.kombo.com/article.php?artid=15520

Along with Excitebots others games will stop shipping such as Wii Fit,Wii Music, Endless Ocean, and Wario Ware: Smooth Moves in case anyone is interested.
