Nintendo Press posted that the sequel will be called Endless Ocean: Blue World which will come out in the North America region on February 22, 2010. It'll be a whole new underwater adventure and it will include Wii Speak to voice chat as you and someone else want to go on an underwater adventure together.
Sounds good, I really did like the original, kind of like Echo on the Dreamcast without the getting lost or having to head-but sharks... Bring on an EU release!
N-Gamer reviewed the Japanese import at a very respectable 84% (85% plus is there gold award, essential purchase category). The game environments sound huge. Game interactions and aquatic species variety greatly increased. Undersea temples. You can even go ashore somewhere and take pictures of bears!

I wasn't really interested in the first one, but it sounds like they've added more of an adventure component to this and the graphics are simply stunning. Wi-Fi support and voice are the icing on the cake. Do we have a Euro release date yet?
Surprising to say the least. I've never seen anyone outside of here say that the first title wasn't boring.
There was a committed group over at the Eurogamer forums when I was there who swore by the first game. They were middle-aged dudes who like to chill-out with a spliff and ambient electro and swim with fish though...
Chilling out with a spliff, listening to ambient electro, bonding with fishies, for the win! Even without a spliff though, EO is a very relaxing experience, and educational too. Highly recommended.
But, how am I gonna listen to my choice of chilled out tunes, when the SD card function might be getting dropped. Gutted about that, guess we'll be stuck with Hayley for the whole game.... yawn! assuming she is providing the songs this time, dunno
Can't wait to see what the final creature will be, hunting down (and finally meeting) the White Mother was a pretty amazing gaming moment. Jaw, meet floor. Apparently, this time we'll be investigating the "Dragons Song".... ooooh!
endless ocean ,warra game so mesmorising and great graphics for the wiis engine all my friend think that is a puffs game but anyone who has played it will tell you different <3

Actually it's "Ancient Mother" but it is white It looks like a huge beluga/dolphin mix. I prob. wouldve been more awestruck by it if I hadn't sneaked a peek on YouTube before seeing it myself.
But yeah, EO is awesome, in fact the only game I ever bought BEFORE owning the system! (though I got the Wii that week). Great for kids too- nothing offensive, & educational if anything. I'll def. get the sequel shortly after release.
BTW- PS2 owners should get Everblue 2, also from ARIKA & the spiritual successor to EO. But you can die by getting attacked/injured or run out of air.
