Topic: Does anyone have 2 Wiis?

I need people to help talk me out of buying a black Wii. I have a white one, and love it, but the black one looks amazing. Please tell me I am stupid for even thinking of buying a second Wii.

If you have even one piece of WiiWare then no.

Do not buy a black wii. Buy 2 black wiis.

LOL, you gotta be kidding me. It's the same damn thing, just a different color, and it's not like this is a cheap item. It's $200 freaking dollars for gods sake. Buy yourself some new games or anything but another stinking Wii.

I have a launch Wii and my girlfriend has a regular old white Nintendo Wii also. I can tell them apart easily because hers has a black mark from a scrape or impact or something on the surface. I'd say that if you want a black Wii, a cheap and easy way is to just scrape off the white paint from your current Wii, the end. ...or just go buy a black Wii since you found it so important to create a topic devoted to the subject.

Well, one is a dev unit and a loaner, so it doesn't count. I've sold the NA one, so actually I only have two: one is PAL and the other Japanese.

If your second Wii is from another region (Japan has rafts of VC exclusives) then I think it's a great idea!

I had three at one point: black, white and a special third one. Now I'm down to one, but I'll be getting a second one in a few days.

Easy Solution here. Spend the money instead on buying a Black PS3. Looks waaaay cooler and you can do it on credit and pay off the extra 100$ over time.

Don't by a 2nd, black wii or an over-rated PS3 my fellow gamer.

Use the moneu to buy retail and ware games. Do you have a DSi? Use the money to buy that instead if not!

we have one launch wii, then a second wii upstairs for my son and possibly a third (black wii) on the way. Not to mention two copies of mario kart wii and Smash Brothers Brawl.

If you have the money for a new system, and you see some games you want on PS3 or 360, get one of those instead. Having 2 of one console for one person is kinda pointless and you can't even put your downloaded stuff on it, or your online game saved data.

I remember when the Wii came out(I was one of the people waiting outside Best Buy), and I made a promise that I wouldn't buy any games online, so that when I got a black Wii, I wouldn't lose anything. Sadly, this lasted 'til Ristar came out. I couldn't wait. Now it even comes with a Motion Plus, Wii Resort, and my favorite color besides red/green(for $50 less WTF) Alright Nintendo, you tested my patience and won this time...

A friend had once 3 Wiis! But when his sister started living seperated, she took 1 of the Wiis with her. So now that friend only has 2 Wiis, how sad...

Umm... I don't have (2) Wii's, I have (3). They're all the original white... I'd like a black one just because! It does look sweet... alternative to buying a second one: get a solid black or black chrome skin for your Wii and remotes. Cheaper, and you'll still impress yourself and your friends.

I have two Wiis now (my white US one just arrived) but I doubt I would have gone out and bought my black machine, undoubtedly awesome though it is. I don't even buy that much WiiWare or VC stuff compared to a lot of you guys and even for me it wouldn't have been worth it.

If you want the same effect, try playing with the lights off.
