There is word that in March 2010, Japan will get a Data East classic game not featured in the Data East Classic over here for Wii. It's Katare Dou (The Way of the Empty Hand) or better known in North America as "Karate Champ". It's a game where there is a white and a red martial artists fighter where 2 points wins the game, it had similarities to International Karate, but Data East had to understand that they could not monopolize a sport. Maybe this game could be the on the Virtual Console Arcade somewhere down the road.

Hmm. I played Karate Champ a bunch in the 'cades, and even more so on my friend's C64. Very fun game; i preferred it to International Karate. I'd definitely consider it if it came to the US VCA.

The Shpydarloggery
She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.
Urban Champion is GLORIOUS.

Karate Champ was the first NES game I ever played.
