This topic is for any game that has gotten a bad review and you actually gave a chance and actually liked. For example even though Plattchen Twist 'n' Paint and Redsteel got mixed reviews I actually really liked both games!
I could probably name quite a few, because I don't have much confidence in the vast majority of game reviewers, but Wii Music is probably the most significant for me. One of the greatest games of this entire console generation (yes, I mean that), but reviewed terribly by most of the inept gaming press (not all reviewers scored it negatively; Nintendo Life gave it a respectable score and favorable review, as did others).

Ghost Squad had really average reviews, but it is awesome and has tons of replay value and a bit of RPG-esque elements and a little depth. My favorite light gun shooter of all time, I remember playing it with my uncle at a Dave n Busters in California...

This is a good topic, as I always feel too persuaded by reviewers even though I know not to trust their opinions over my own... I'll be anxious to hear what people say. The only thing I can think of now (which is way more of a Nostalgia pick) is Bloody Wolf, on the VC (originally TG-16). I loved that game in elementary school, and even though it doesn't hold up today, it makes me happy. So Wii Music's worth it, eh? I, too, have been slightly ashamed by my level of interest.... perhaps I should give it a shot.

I liked what I could play of it...it was just over way too fast and I haven't gotten it to calibrate on months. The calibration was just abysmal in my experience.

Gah, how could I forget Wii Music! I loved that game when I played it, it was more about making your own music rather than playing someone else's.
