I wanted to know if people the Little Kings Story and Conduit are worth their present price. I usually like getting games used or on sale. I'd rather a game be really long (like some RPGs) if I were to spend the origional retail price on it(Though I and my fiance did get Ghostbusters for $40. I don't think that happens often though.) I am thinking of getting the Metriod prime Trilogy, I think that sounds worth it.
If you guys want you can list other games that you think are or are not worth their price.
Find the most expensive copy of Little King's Story that you can, and buy two. You will not regret it! And yes, I'm being serious. As for The Conduit...no comment.
You should live in the UK. A supermarket (Sainsburys) is currently selling LKS for £10!! but it's definitely worth full price. Not played The Conduit ,not my kinda thing ,but from what I've seen and heard of it I'd wait for a drop in price (or rent if you only want the single player). Metroid's worth the money if you haven't played them before.Personally I never buy a full price game anymore (apart from stuff that will never be reduced e.g Wii Sports Resort). The prices drop like stones in the UK after about a month in some cases so it's worth waiting.(unless your rich of course )
Yeah. LKS and MP are tempting. Conduit would be good for online, but I don't have Wii Speak (and that cost an extra $30 of course.) Do people play Conduit much online now? How was it playing that way> I've heard of some glitchs. Is the Wii speak part nice?
@Luigi78- Yeah, I DO like deals. I just got a used GBA sp today for $15 at a new shop in town. It was 30 at least a week ago. It wasn't the SP bright that I wanted, but for 15 I had to get it. Used to have an SP but traded it to bro. I believe, awhile back.
LKS. If you want a game that will last you a long time, you'd be hard pressed to find something on the Wii with more longevity. I've invested a LOT of time, and I've only beaten three bosses. There's so much to do, and you always have your choice of a few quests to devote your attention to. (I say "a few." I must have at least a dozen just sitting around, waiting for me to get around to them.)
MPT will also give you oodles of playtime, but that's because it's three games in one. It takes three Metroids to equal one LKS in terms of playtime, to give you some perspective. The Conduit is a lot of fun, but you'll beat it in a weekend, probably, if you devote time to it. Online is its saving grace, but be warned that a lot of people have had trouble with it online.
(I haven't, barring the pretty rare and understandable glitch or two. Others claim they can barely play online at all. So...it may be a crap shoot.)
I vote LKS. It's probably one of the 20 or so best games I've ever played, in terms of out and out enjoyment. But be warned: it's a HUGE investment of time!
Here's another one/two I want to ask about. The No more Heroes/ Red Steel bundle for 30 dollars. I heard some were disappointed with RS. Would this be worth getting?
NMH yes, a 'must-play', Red Steel I had to get rid of because I honestly felt the controls were unplayable!!!!! I'd get frustrated and angry just trying to look around a room, apart from that it's really shiny and cool. But, broken. If you think you are half-cool, you will get a big laugh from NMH, awesome game!
