Topic: Anyone played pop up pursuit ?

was wondering if anyone played this yet? does it have mini games? how is it?

I'm gonna play it soon, I have been looking forward to this game. I really think this may be a good game.

I just played it real quick and it's really neat. Instead of using dice to move across the board you use coins and cards. Cards can allow you to move a certain number of spaces, add coins for you to use, or attack another player (such as destroying one of there cards). The coins come into play while using certain cards (some cards allow you to trade blank number of coins for blank number of spaces). There are no mini-games, but this doesn't detract from the experience, and I think the game is better without them. The graphics are great, they really did the pop-up style of the game good. Overall, I give the game a 8/10.

I'll be giving this a go tonight with some friends. If it's fun, we'll play it tomorrow night, too. If it's not...I don't know. Maybe I'll learn to juggle.

I'm still ticked I'm 300 Points off from getting this. I've been waiting for this for a long time... Glad to hear some of you are enjoying it though. I'm gonna laugh in the face of all of you haters when the game turns out to be like Bonsai Barber. What, did you forget you guys labelled that as shovelware too? >_>

Also, not all Board games have to have mini-games. Something the lot of you seem to have trouble understanding. Strategy FTW.

Never said you. Was speaking in general. All the people that took one look at it and said "SHOVELWARE" or "WiiWare is useless this week". I meant in the sense how a lot of people passed Bonsai Barber off as "shovelware" when it was first shown and it was a big surprise. Some have said they've enjoyed this so that's good enough for me especially when the gameplay looks up to snuff.

But going back to your dislike, what in particular don't you like about it? I'd enjoy hearing your thoughts.
Also, did multiplayer do nothing for you?

@KnucklesSonic8-My girl and I got this yesterday. There's only 2 gameboards with 3 difficulty levels each. We played co-op against the com. You have to have both players reach the end to end that game. When one of us reached the end It was great till we found out we could still be sent back off the space. Boy did that suck. Stupid pirate!
