Topic: The Miis...

You think Nintendo will ever update them? Like, more features, selections, or options and all that?
Honestly I was trying to make some characters but they always turn out too creepy and crap, lol

I don't think anyone can make a Mii that doesn't look creepy.

Agreed Defhalan. In my opinion, I dislike miis, and use them as less as possible.

They actually are improved a lot from their original design. The miis originally were planned for the nintendo 64 but they could never get them to work properly so they worked on it and then finally got it to work with the wii.

They cannot simply update them, because then every single game that uses them would need to be updated as well. So if they added a bunch of noses, those noses would need to be added to NintendoLand, NSMBU, etc, or the Miis wouldn't work.

Basically they were updated with the release of the 3DS, and the WiiU kept with that version of them.

Though it would of course be nice if the neeext system gives them some new features.

Source? I always assumed the game just accessed and then displayed the Mii file in-game.

Granted I'm no programmer, but I couldn't see any other system ever making sense.

I've always loved the mii's! They look much better than the avatars for other systems and with some clever tweaking you can actually make a wide variety of Miis. I'll see if I can get a couple of pictures up later when I'm home from work.

Yeah I know...I just can't make them myself, lol.
