Batman: Arkham Origins was the biggest AAA Wii U confirmation we've had in awhile. Awesome. This is going to be an expensive Q4.

Really wish Capcom would put Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen on the console alongside revelations. The new game is The OG Dragon's Dogma, its DLC, and the Dark Arisen Expansion. I guess as long as Monster Hunter is an exclusive Capcom won't port Dragon's Dogma in fear of canbalizzing their sales.

I remember i had started off slow with my beginning to purchase games for the then newly released 3DS and Vita. When I bought a 3DS (original), first game i bought was Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition, then my next game was Dead or Alive Dimensions a couple months later, now I have i think 12 3DS games, several VC games, and some eShop games. The Vita, besides PSP, PSone Classics, and Mini's, I have I think at least 6 or 7 Vita games (retail) and a at least a few games that I had downloaded.

After all these months... and years, Pikmin 3 has a release date. August 4th.

Yeah, it appears to be a disappointingly slow summer. I'll be getting Deus Ex next month, but after that, I probably won't get anything retail until Pikmin 3. The Wonderful 101 is one of those games I'll wait for reviews on, but I expect good things from it. I expect it to be out in June or July, to be honest. There will probably be like one or two minor third party surprises before September, but most of the love until the fall gaming season is probably going to be on the eShop and Virtual Console. I highly suspect that, starting in September, a chain of major releases will begin that completely redeems the first eight or nine months of the console's infancy. I'm sure we'll get a release date avalanche come E3.

Homefront 2 is coming? Where did you get this information?

That's all I care about. As for the eShop, UnEpic & Blood of the Werewolf are coming, those have my interest in addition to Flashback & Fade Into Darkness.

Also, Demon Tribe is an iOS game, not an eShop game.

An update for a few of those many eShop games that we keep hearing about
and I prematurely update the "Recently Released" section for this week's VC games.

It has been announced for "next-generation consoles"... however not Wii U specifically.

Yeah, I've tried to omit all rumors from the list and stick with 99% confirmations only. I feel like once upon a time I had seen a confirmation somewhere, but that was before launch, and now I can only find rumors, so I've removed it from the list.

Probably worth adding some of the VC titles in these videos to your VC list:

You're missing Mario Bros, Kirby's Dream Course, Kirby Super Star, Wrecking Crew, Yoshi's Cookie, Super Mario Bros, Street Fighter II and A Link to the Past from what I can tell. I might have missed some but I think that's all of them. There's no reason why they would put these games in their "VC trailers" along with all of these other titles already "confirmed" if it wasn't happening. I think it's highly probable we'll see all of these games by the end of the year.

Personally, I'm curious about the Fire Emblem X Shin Megami Tensei crossover. I'm familiar with FE, but really don't know much about SMT except that it has to do with fighting demons or something.

In any case, I wonder how that title will shape up.

The list is updated to include confirmed Virtual Console games, the new Scribblenauts, Pac-Man, Mario & Sonic @ Olympics, Sonic: Lost World, the unknown Sonic title, Adventure Time, and both versions of New Super Luigi U, as well as tW101 release date. Keep in mind release dates are for North America where applicable, but I will try to update to include both the NA and PAL release dates pretty soon.

Personally I would love homefront 2 to come to WiiU.

This thread should be stickied. This is more thorough and complete than any other upcoming Wii U games list I've seen online.

Thanks for the support, I hope it does! I try my best to keep it complete, quickly updated, and accurate, although (especially with indie/kickstarter games) it can never be a 100% comprehensive lineup - just as close as possible.
