Topic: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - OT

well that was fun!my tag was K1 and mostly used pit. i lost all my matches but i would like to play with you guys/gals again. I still needa get even with a certain link .
BTW to anyone who i played with, how did i play? was i spammy or annoying, as i would like to improve my play.

Edit: Does anyone know if the stages were set because i only played a few stages with multiple repeats (namely pilotwings, that one meta knight stage, and the castle siege FE stage)

@kelvin217: Because I'm a tad on the narcissistic side, I'm gonna assume you mean me. And you were pretty good. Between you and a few other players, I was pretty tensed up for most of the back half of my matches.

Looks like I'm sailing in at fourth overall. Pretty excited for that. Also @Jazzer94 I thought that was you! Man, that spammy Link we were playing with was really annoying, though. You're super good. I daresay I'd be in deep trouble if I were to 1v1 you.

@kelvin217 I actually played against you a couple times and I think you were good. BTW my name was Pr.Patrick and my tag was Alex.

I dunno who this NEWB is as I never faced him, and mikes is at the top. Oh well.

@kelvin217: I was the White Shulk with the ? mii and tag. I think I battled you in my first rounds. You were good overall. Not spamming or annoying. I suppose you should be careful to not let opponents read you. IIRC I got the first 2 victories by hard reading you for the KO. But yeah, overall Good Games

@Gridatttack: yeah i gotta work on that, i usually just attack recklessly when i get nervous.

In case anyone felt like taking me on, later, perhaps in 1v1, my NNID is Wolfgang and I switched between Link, Ike, and Yoshi for most of the tournament with a Shulk once or twice. Probably my more formidable appearances were as Link (Fierce Diety skin) and I've got nothing to do for a few weeks.

@UGXWolf I'd love to 1v1 you sometime. You were fun to fight against. I think my Lucina vs your Ike would make for an interesting battle!

Nooooo. I can't take part in anymore matches. Well, that was lots of fun. It would have been great to battle some people on this thread, but I mostly got other random people. I had Mikes a few times, but nobody else I could recognise. My final number of wins is 2, and I'm glad to have got those wins.

Well, the tourney's over. Managed to win 8 matches. And I was pushed down to 5th position by some guy named AG.
Totally great games, everyone! I'm not really impressed with Tourney Mode in general, but I guess I had so much fun with it ever since launch.

Anyways, quick question. I always want to improve myself, so can the players who played with me rate me? I hope I didn't cause much trouble for you guys!

So in the Fan Fighter I got 9th and in the For Glory I got 14th (Only played a couple matches in For Glory.)

@VeeFlamesNL: You played really good. You actually were the one that was giving me the most trouble (I haven't faced any good Kirby users before, so I had no idea about the MU and that it's back air is a kill move)

@VeeFlamesNL: I noticed you never used his forward throw for combos at least in my matches. You should since it has less lag so you can basically do some true combos. Like forward throw to fair or uair. Otherwise you play great! I remember making it to the end of the match with you and gridattack couple of times.

Is anyone in NL going to attend to Super Smash Con? I'm really excited about going to Smash Con!

@VeeFlamesNL I thought you were a pretty great Kitby. I have a friend that used to main him. I'll try and get you two to duke it out when he comes back from work in two-and-a-half weeks.

@TheGreatLord Thanks, but believe me, forward throw + fair combos are a staple for me. I guess I underused the combo or something.Maybe next time! Oh, and you're perfect with C' Falcon grabs. Most Falcons I face online miss their grabs all the time, it's funny.

Oh, and don't take it too personally on that xD I wasn't targeting you due to wanting you lose first.
I was so I could fight with you, and learn more on the Kirby matchup, as you are actually the first good Kirby user I met. I did learn about the possible combos I could get trapped in, as well as noting your back air is a kill move.

I beat this guy with Zelda in under 2 minutes. Finished him off with the reverse kangaroo kick. I think the Tournament mode was a disappointment but the Youtube upload feature is pretty cool, even if it can only be 3 minute max.
