@iKhan: I never was a fan of different difficulties to chose from. I never knew what had been the appropriate one for me. I always went with normal but always had the feeling that I were missing some challenges or aggrieving me unnecessary. I think a game should have the right learning curve and should steadily challenge the player.
However, then you have the problem that some people would never finish the game. That was quite normal in the early days. I never met someone that actually beat Metroid (NES).

I don't know if the "invincible mode" that Nintendo already used in Yoshi's Wolly World is the right move but it is obviously that it isn't tangent to real players and therefore no problem for us.

@Chandlero: I know it's not technically a problem for real players, but I think it's a good thing when games are made accessible to more people. And I don't think Nintendo is going about it the right way.

I think they could easily not make it a "difficulty mode", but instead call it "casual mode" or something. Mario Kart Wii did this and it worked incredibly well. Hell, I even used it myself, and it allowed me to get a grasp of the game before I turned on drifting.

Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F

Since this game is based off the first Star Fox game, hopefully Nintendo will bring back the secret level called "Out of this dimension.

That slot machine part though...
Ugh why on Earth won't they release StarFox SNES? I'd settle for a New 3DS only 3DS Classic of it if I have to at this point. But they should put it on the WiiU for easy switching between this and Starfox Zero.

It is the same reason as ever: StarFox used the SuperFX chip and Nintendo has licensing problems when emulating it.

I don't know is it's true or not but I saw a poster (can't remember whom) once say the rights to the SuperFX chip have actually expired but the problem is emulating (tricking the chips into behaviour like another chip) is really tricky with SuperFX.

@Sticker: The boss music slightly reminds me of Snow Land from Super Circuit, really hope Nintendo brings that and more GBA courses to MK9 or whatever the next MK content is.

Those look amazing.

It feels weird not to see Panther Caroso on Star Wolf's team lol. I liked Panther. I can't wait to play this.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

First Print edition available to preorder at Nintendo UK Online Store, also comes with a free shirt. In addition, there's an amiibo bundle containing Fox, Falco and a special cap.

@Grumblevolcano: Never mind my comment on the fire emblem thread I got it thanks for the update! It's rather hard to find so I think the same thing may happen with fire emblem where it's hard to find so us die hards can get it first haha

@DoctorOverbuild @Monkey_Balls: Cheers for the heads up Monkey, manged to reorder with right size T this time, although I had to use IE as Firefox still only showed Size S. I had the same issue with Android version of Firefox as well... So it may never have been about stock, but maybe just a browser issue...
