Topic: Splatoon - OT

They really should brought this Splatfest's date forward by 1 week. It's a bit silly having a Halloween themed Splatfest on the 7th of November.

Wow, really? Us Europeans are actually getting a cool Splatfest for once? That's amazing to hear. Ghosts and Zombies are both great, so I don't know who to pick yet.

I'm so annoyed that I have to miss today's Splatfest because of a crappy Internet service. Even if connect via Ethernet cable, it will still become unstable and then disconnect (sorry teammates). Did a speed test and found out the download/upload speed is 4.83/ 0.34 Mbps compare to 17.95/ 5.21 Mbps that I have at my home. Wish I made my promise to help my stepdad for next or last weekend, that way I would be home and not in PA.

I went 18-10 for team Pirates earlier today. I'm happy with that performance.

Got to the highest rank in about 4 hours. The map selection sucked. All 3 stages you can spawn camp. So a lot of battles were dominating victories or a massacre XD. Also a weird thing happen I got a lobby error 4 times in a row and one of my teammates got them too because some how I got matched up again with that teammate all 4 times. What are the odds of that? I even switched my weapon in the 3rd.

I think I lost a bit more than I won, but it wasn't as one sided as the Transformers Splatfest, so I'm not complaining. I encountered a ton of Splattershot Jr users.

@Kinan: Unless you're doing Private battles all the NA peeps are stuck in Splatfest, fyi.

If you're doing private battles though that sounds like it'd be fun, I'm already sick of Splatfest.

@Kinan: Yeah; private matches, imo, are only good when you've got 6 or more people, and I guess because of Halloween everyone's out and about.

@Kinan: I could possibly play then. What time zone are you in, so I make sure I join at the right time?

If you guys have a space open, then I wouldn't mind joining since this Splatfest has been pretty meh.

@Kinan: Actually, with Splatfest going on today, I think I'll play that instead. I need super sea snails! lol I'll send you a friend request though, so I can join in next time.

@Kinan: im sure if it was anyother day you woun't have much trouble getting some peeps to play with. I added you also.

This is real true. Just ask to do some squad battles on this forum, and most of the time you get a full quad to play with!

I got up to rank of Pirate Defender.

It's fun when you use a roller and secretly follow someone else who has one and erase all their work.

Going to be cutting it close, but if I win all of my matches, then I may be able to make it to Eternal Love Boy. I believe the Splatfest will end in less than 10 minutes.

Edit: well, I didn't have quite enough time unfortunately... Spending time in the lobby takes up too much time...
But I made sure not to show the other team any love

@Kinan add NagoyaKazuo, I'll usually be up for some squads as well. Japan's Splatfest just ended so I may be up for a couple tag matches.

@DiscoGentleman haha, ya sometimes the names are pretty interesting with the Japanese ranking. (My favourite was Eternal Boke Boy or Eternal Octopus Boy/Girl. Plus I've seen some interesting drawings to go with some of them.)

Money had a slightly higher popularity with 53% to Love's 47% and love barely had a higher percentage of wins with 51% to Money's 49%.
In the end, team Love won with 353 points to Money's 347!

My win streak continues

I lost most of my games but got as far as Pirate Champion.

The event will be over soon but it was fun while it lasted I guess. There were a lot of lobby issues this time, not in the game itself while playing but during the matchmaking.
