Topic: Splatoon - OT

@Blue_Blur: I mostly just like Arowana Mall. Btw, what happened that last stage? we were neck and neck, and all of the sudden, their counter shot down really quickly!

@Nicolai: Someone on our team had the Rainmaker and decided to take it to our base, so when we lost the Rainmaker and the other team got it, they were already passed their counter range and took the lead.

@Blue_Blur: Dang, I can make a lot of poor decisions, but even I knew not to do that.

@Nicolai: I did that once, and luckily I didn't get splatted and my team won, but it is a very risky move. I usually only do it when there's like 15 seconds left. Any more time, and I feel like I won't be able to keep it.

@Blue_Blur: Yeah, I do that too, but not when both scores are really close to the goal. We have a better shot of making a quick break forward.
@Blue_Blur: Boy, do I feel silly. I just did the same thing I ridiculed someone else of doing because I thought the goal was the wrong way

I have been on a major losing streak for the past two days. If I lose one more match, I'm going to lose my B+ rank.

I had a good hour or two and my creativity in SMM was down, so I finally decided to boot this game up again after like, a month absence...
And wow, I should not be having this much fun with this game. I don't even care I de-ranked to A-, the amount of crazy stupid stunts I pull off in the game makes me laugh too much for someone playing by himself. I did the ol' hide in the plant trick in Arowana and got a triple-splat out of it

Apparently, according to Squidboards, the octoling hacker that was causing issues to other people's save files was found (Kazuki23650214) and got a full console ban on October 02.

@MasterWario: It is in my opinion one of the most fun games I've ever played,definitely features in my top 10 games of all time.Not many games over the course of my long life have ever got the 400 hours+ treatment that I can remember but looking at my log now,I'm at 380 hours already .I've a bad habit of leaving my Wii U on when not playing so that's not really accurate but still,that's a lot of hours.The thing is I'm still discovering things everytime I play and we've still got 4 or 5 new maps to come.I wouldn't be surprised if by this time next year I'm still playing with well over 1000 hours logged haha

@OorWullie: I feel like this is the only game I need till Zelda comes out. When I find a good online shooter I can't help but to play forever. The last game I played like this ended at 800 hours and that was Goldeneye Wii. I can see that hitting close to that but it will have an end for me at some point.

@Spoony_Tech: Before Splatoon I would say my most played shooter would have to be Goldeneye too,but the N64 one haha.I've never really been that big on them before.I played some on Wii but none really hooked me,Metroid Prime 3 not included.I can remember loving Timesplitters on Gamecube,that saw many single player hours and I used to play Halo a lot with my mates but as I never owned an Xbox myself it can't have been that much.MK Wii was the last game I racked up as many hour as this,no idea how many but it had to be upward of 500.MK 8 I've played a lot,around 200 hours I think but since Splatoon came out it's not seen much action.

@OorWullie: @Spoony_Tech: I'll be playing this game for a long time, too. I guess, for the Wii U, I'm always looking for that Nintendo title that I'm going to remember playing decades in the future, like SMW on the SNES, or Ocarina of Time on the N64, and unless something else great comes out, Splatoon's probably going to be the most memorable Wii U title I ever play.

@Nicolai: Yep,same here.Splatoon is what I'll remember the Wii U for.I'm having a great time with Super Mario Maker and will continue to do so for a long time ,MK8 and DKTF I'd also put in that special game category,Xenoblade,Zelda and possblly Starfox will be the same but say the name Wii U in 10 years and the first thing that will come to my mind will be Splatoon.

Although not exclusive to Wii u Rayman legends will forever be my NO.1 Wii u game! ( splatoons catching up fast though )

@Jorjaymad-6715: Rayman Legends is another great game. Though not as much variety in gameplay, the daily challenges kept me playing till I unlocked everything.
Pikmin 3 and SSBU stick out to me as well, but none do like Splatoon.
