Made it to Science Queen in 4 hours ^_^ At one point I had the perfect team i was Carbon my team were Gold Dynamo,Krak on roller and a squiffer. We played together for awhile until a connection error happened. Oh and one more thing I faced Swimmybird for the second time XD His team beat mine by 1% >.< So im 0-2 against birdy blah.
About Splatoon and Wired Ethernet, should you always go for a known brand USB adapter or can you settle for whichever cheap one from China?
In the past discussions about LAN adapters I've read, it seems to be a bit random if 3rd party adapter works well or not. You might want to read the user impressions at sites like Amazon to find out if a model seems to work or not. Regarding the official LAN adapter, please note that you can order it from anywhere in the world, if it's too expensive or out of stock in your country.
May have to give up on this Splatfest early because my router seems to want to make today an off day or something. My connection has dropped several times before I even turned the WiiU on. Think I've done 2 or 3 matches max before losing connection.
@pikminfan22: just keep playing the level and you'll eventually learn the strat. What i do is charge my inkzooka climb up to the grates and fire once the special is done sneak into the enemy base and bam spawn camp
https://twitter.com/nwplayer123 New leaks and such, more use for amiibos, however it is said they are shoving out 3 more amiibos, they still need to release more of what they already have, guess it might be time people start buying amiiqo

Also not playing any fest, I don't need tons of snails and the game was starting to get meh for mii.
@pikminfan22: Only before matches if I notice a horrible mismatch of player levels. There's been times where I was the only member over level 15 let alone 20 against a team of 30's & 40's. Also seen some upsets like that too so it's worth not intentionally dropping out just to fight the odds sometimes.
I started to play this game again due to the ( European ) Splatfest. I haven't touched it in a while because it gives me quite a stressful gaming session if I do, and that mostly because I always have a hard time with the controls. I use the rightstick for aiming but I always having a hard time with to aiming with controllers like the 360 and PS3 gamepad. Should I give Gyro controls a second chance?
@Dee0342: I'd say yeah. I'm traditionally lousy at dual analog shooters myself so using the pad itself is a bit of an equalizer. May want to play around with the sensitivity settings if you find your reaction times a bit off too.

Being on a well-working Splatfest team is so much fun after a couple of matches! And it becomes sooo easy to progress in Splatfest ranks. And the reverse.
I went 23-0 to start out Splatfest last night. Unfortunately the team lost twice after that an disbanded. But I still made king in 3 hours. Not bad at all.

I wouldn't consider these leaks. According to one of Nikki's responses "none of this is confirmed, it's all educated guessing", especially the Callie and Marie Amiibo idea, which she states is speculation. Anyways even if it was true, the only really surprising thing about it would be the Amiibos, as the playable Octolings is no real surprise.
@Dee0342: I used to hate gyro too, but once I tried using it again after playing the game so more, I fell in love with it. I totally recommend using gyro, especially if you use a gun or sniper weapon. I find it much easier to aim and preform more technical moves. I think it comes in handy the most when you're ambushed by surprise. I can react a lot quicker by moving the gamepad rather than moving the right stick exactly the right distance to hit the enemy; but that's just my opinion. I do think you should try gyro out again, I think you'll be surprised at how much smoother that controls feel after getting used to it.
I only recently got this game but I'm finding it really hard to play since everyone has godlike skills and being a new player I'm obviously quite bad at it.
Do you guys have some advice for someone in my position? There seems to be no "noob" lobby either ):
