Made it to B 60, it really is nice of them giving us those 30 point to start. It was the first time I'd ever been bumped out to the lobby. Think I'm taking the rest of the night off.

finds all the scrolls in Single Player (and re-fights the final boss for no reason), nothing happens
....Wat? No new weapon or something?! T.T
On my first playthru I collected all the scrolls thinking that was the only way to unlock the special weapons but I was wrong only the scrolls from the boss fights alone do the trick.
Bleh, well anyways, dunno if I'll go online tonight or not. But I'll say something if I do, if you guys wanna do those squad things. (I wanna say private battle, but I wanna increase my rank/level, lol)

After so long, I finally tackled Ranked mode. It's a nice twist to just turf wars, but I'm ready to go online with any Nlifers. Let me know!
I usually get online late though, after 11pm and stay for a few hours. It's been interesting playing with japanese players lately, but I've gotten used to it.
I'd really like a Mario vs Luigi Splatfest or some other Nintendo-themed ones so I'd feel like they were actually about something I cared about.
As much as I would love to see that, I don't know if Nintendo would do it. It would be fun and very interesting, but I could see it getting heated. Splatfests are supposed to be light-hearted events for the most part. Japan's only had splatfests about food so far! And Europe's eating vs. sleeping takes the cake for weirdest splatfest so far.
I would've thought Judd would be sad for a few days after cats lost to dogs.
I don't think people would get too serious over something fun like Nintendo characters: it's not like if they put the sides as something really polarizing like Republicans vs Democrats, lol.
I'm an S ranker, but we only get pit against A+'s and S's so maybe it is just a shortage of S rankers? Also, feel free to add me, my NNID is ShadowStaraptor, send me yours too
@Octane: It seems like whenever this is unbalance in the lobby the higher ranks always get put on the same team. Very rarely are they EVER divided evenly. I don't care if I only lose 5 points I almost always lose that's the point.
2 dats ago I had a great 4 game run and got back into B+ 30 so I called it quits. Hopped on much later and proceeded to fall right back out by being nickled and dimed. I fell right back out but it took 6 games in a row to lose those 30 points. Didn't win one. The rest of the night wasn't much better but I did quit on a win but only my second of the night. I still had fun even in losing as it's making me a better player and causing me to be more patient.

@Megumi: I would never refight that last boss, no matter what they promised us. Am glad I finished it, I really enjoyed the credits, I redo them occasionally just for fun, and the snow globe is pure genius, but 13x fighting him was enough.
Didn't we get something for finding all the scrolls? I know I found them all, but that was mostly grinding so I could max out my weapons for the final boss fight. Not sure I ever could have beat him w/o the gun speed at maximum.

I didn't think the last boss was that hard, fun but not hard did even get splatted once I think but I see people saying it is maybe it's because I'd played weeks of the multiplayer at that point.
@Spoony_Tech: Yeah, that's what I noticed as well. After (losing) three matches I quit, waited for a while, and went back in the lobby to ensure that I'd be matched with other people.
@rjejr: I want that maxed out single player gun for multiplayer. I played some single player this morning and I almost forgot how fast that gun fires if it's maxed out.
You don't need your weapon maxed out, level 3 would do it...and yeah it wasn't hard. I had a slow start at the beginning, but after figuring out what to do I didn't have too much trouble. (I died a couple of times because of stupid mistakes. lol)

@Jazzer94: I mostly got stuck on that ramp, I think it was before the cut scene. Died there half a dozen times. Then after finally passing it I was so annoyed the fight kept going w/o a check point I almost immediately died by falling off. Died a few more times falling off that last section - I really suck at getting on and off those zip line wires - then I finally beat him. I'm sure I could go back and do it again in 1 or 2 tries now that everything is maxed out, but I really have no desire to. Do wish they would bring the invisible objects and moving platforms to multiplayer. I want to play turf war in an entirely invisible world, all we can see out the spawn pads and ink. Too crazy for ranked but turf war is meant to be fun.
