Topic: Splatoon - OT

I still hate how they calculate ranked points.

I'm still unranked on my file (still fighting to keep off the ranking grid a bit longer) but I played some ranked battles (more splat zone than tower control) on my cousin's Wii U a few times, raised him from C to a B (edit: sorry C+ to B- ). Not sure if I should feel bad for him or the people team up with him with the skill jump but I try not to lose sleep on it.

I'm up for private matches and I guess Squad battles when the time comes.

Yeah I don't really like how it's now even easier to lose 14 points compared to before the update. Though I finally reached S Rank so I don't have to worry about my rank being affected in Squad Battles.

Ok, I should be on Splatoon at that time unless dinner happens. (I can never predict when dinner happens)

@Jazzer94: Huh. I thought I understood it quite well, at least before the update. What happened?

@MasterWario: My team had an S rank and I was deducted less then when I lost with an A+ on my team, it just seems random sometimes.

Yeah it seems like they turned up the sensitivity on it in the newest patch. It seems all you need is a + higher on your team to be deducted less. I still don't understand why you get people of other ranks in your matches now anyway. It kicks you out once you rank up... I'm guessing there aren't enough A+/S/S+ people out there but still...why am I getting A+ people when I'm B is beyond my understanding.

I'm up for some private or squad battles now or later,I'll add some of you guys.I joined the Squid Boards earlier and already got a few adds so hopefully I'll build up a list of decent players.I'm not great but I'm alright,my aggression is an asset to any team.I've got a Mick Jagger Mii in case you're wondering who this big lipped and wrinkly old guy is adding you

I kind of understand why the ranking system works the way it is since most people I play against seem to be around my skill level now at B+ and A-, but I still kind of hate ranking down.
Although it's pretty fun when playing with friends. Even if I went down 46 points when with them to 0 at A- haha. (They hadn't played for awhile and we're all rank C-)

@ELI-ASH: Thanks for the add. I added you too. Anyone else, feel free to add me. I now have 2 friends on the WiiU! I'm looking forward to seeing what Squad battle is all about. I use the Splattershot Pro. I'm B rank and usually hover around the B's.

...I can't tell if there's some hacker/cheater out there or not. Some guy in Tower Control got 21 kills, and wasn't even taken down once...can't tell if I was lagging or not since I kept hitting him constantly...sighs

Yeah, the lag is really annoying. I especially hate lag with rollers; they roll past you, you think your safe, and then you randomly get splatted. It's hard to make your next move when you're unsure if you're really still alive or not.

Anyways later tonight I might just wait and do one of those squad things...or (I typed in hunt for some reason, lol) play Turf War with some friends instead. Also, I hate the Slosher...(Translation: I suck with it)

Just had a match were i splatted a heavy splattling user 4 times at point blank range with the bucket XD He/She was so busy trying to charge it at max but it was too late heh.

Ok I'm here, but do we have enough people to play right now? I'll just do turf wars until/if we get organized.

only 2 on my list are on just 1 more and we can do a quad squad yea i guess ill do turf in the mean time aswell.
