Lots of Team Eat players fighting each other? I guess I'm going to lose on Team Sleep then. I've had no problems finding Team Eat teams to battle, so Team Eat must be much more popular.
@yamii: I get way too much enjoyment out of just dressing up my Inkling And yeah bummer about the amiibo exclusives. (Although I have the Inkling Girl Amiibo)
I was able to attend this Splatfest. I registered for Team Rollar Coaster and made it to Champion rank before quitting. Seems like to fet to King/Queen rank you need to play practically all day! Even if I had that kind of time I don't want to play Splatoon for THAT long! To me Splatoon is the kind of game you need to play in short bursts or else you'll end up breaking something, lol. In any case, I had fun. Mostly.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
Eternal Eating Boy reporting in, 36 wins and 7 losses. Didn't keep track of which were vs Team Sleep and not..
It's kind of lame that they didn't come up with new titles for this splatfest. They made some sense for the rock vs pop splatfest, charismatic rock boy for example. But eternal eating boy just sounds sad.
Is the Kraken Roller any good? Everyone I've seen online seems to be skilled with it.
Considering that it is commonly used, is one of the over all safest rollers, and has the ability to utilize the Kraken it appears to be a very good weapon. The weapon basically utilizes the best features of a roller (raw power, great coverage, low ink usage, and has the ability to use the Kraken which makes up for it's main weaknesses.)
I wonder if Splatoon will eventually have a tier list for it's weapons made once it's been entirely updated. It'll be pretty cool to see how much Splatoon has changed, weapon wise, if that ever happens.
If my matches are any indication, Roller Coasters should run away with this. I didn't keep track, but I'd guess we won at least 80% of our matches easily, and I filled up that flag chart for the first time (although I had gotten SO HAWT! before, it's strange that you can get the highest rank without filling up all the flags). If anyone on here is C.A., you are the man/woman! We won probably at least 10-15 matches in a row, and they had double digit kills with a maximum of 2 deaths (and often 0) in almost all of them. And they were our leading scorer in most of them, too. I have never seen anyone get that many kills and still ink that much turf at the same time. We only finally lost when one of our teammates left and got replaced by someone at Level 6. There were a lot more lower level players in this Splatfest than the last one, I think.
I think it was mostly the hard core Splatoon players that played on the 4th of July, but this time all the casuals came out to see what it was all about. I definitely saw a lot of low-ranked players last night, but I was lucky to get some good teammates tonight.
Krak-On Roller is awesome. You don't need to worry about aiming because you just run around with it, and when you do need to toss paint to splat someone it spreads out very generously, so you barely even need to aim to splat people with it. Krak-On gives you invincibility when you're in trouble and makes getting kills easy. It's probably the easiest weapon to use in the game for inking lots of turf on turf wars, and a lot of times you'll just roll over enemies hiding in the ink by total accident for extra kills. There's a reason so many people use it.
@crimsontadpoles: yeah it kinda sucks how they determine the winner by popularity :c but team sleep may even win the percentage of battles won, I lost almost all the battles I did yesterday. Mainly because I got paired with more inexperienced players around lvl. 8, I'm level 20 myself.( and playing against a full lvl 20 team) Even though I manage to get alot of kills every round, it just seems like I'm dragging my team along. It kinda sucks when I and the opponents team are more experienced than my own team, would be nice if they used some sort of ranked battle system during splatfest. The there would be even teams, and that gives both teams the same change of winning
Guess team Roller Coaster managed to win despite having less popularity. It was very close though:
46% RC 54% WS Popularity
53% RC 47% WS Wins
Since Wins percentage is doubled it came out to 152-148. Felt nice after being on Team Cats and losing.
I just started playing an hour ago.I'm on Team Sleeping and having no problems finding team members but it's taking as long to find Eating opponents as it was Pop.It is early morning in Europe though, maybe all the eaters are sleeping?

I'm on Team Eating and I was playing until ten minutes ago. I did many matches against team Sleeping, but also had to fight other eat-lovers like me for, I thought, an absence of dreamers . Sounds weird that you are having trouble finding my comrades for a match.
It's pretty interesting however, everything seems to point out that the percentage of voters are really close to the fifty/fifty, it will make the results VERY interesting to watch
