Did a bunch of re-rolls on my 3K gear. Got 3 quick super jumps on my headgear with a strength main, a strength, quick super jump and special duration on my cold blooded clothing and 3 ink refill on my shoes with a strength main.
I would personally prefer the 3 quick super jumps on my clothing and 2 or 3 strengths for the head and maybe another quick super jump since I mainly use super jump to my beakons if I'm using the custom, but not as often if I use the regular 3K. Both have a higher likely hood of getting the quick super jump so I'll probably try to go for what I wanted.
should've quit when I reached B+ 70. Afterwards, I was plagued by connexion issues.
I think I finally have enough gear which I'm feeling comfortable with. And the white striped LS whith quick respawn main and two quick respawn subs will most certainly stay. that and the inkvader cap with two ink saver main and I'm feeling really lucky.
Fun thing, after the splatfest, I played some turf war, and the difference between that and ranked is terrific! It was most of the time so easy to splat other inklings!

@Lycidas The main thing is knowing when to call it a day. If you get three losses, or two connection drops, the best thing is to call it quits and stop, and save your rank. Try to play on times that have your preferred mode on mainly, but keep a balance of all three.
Out of curiosity, which weapon do you main, and what is your preferred mode?
Good luck with the climb.
EDIT: Obviously, that's just my advice. You've probably heard it before, and it may not work for you, but, hey. It's worth a shot to help.
@TheXReturns: That's still very good advice!
Sometimes I tend to insist and keep going despite the disconnects, though it's only hurting my rank - and my mood. ^^'
I'm maining the grey N-Zap, for me it's good a good combination of reach and firerate. I know I'll get splatted - my playstyle is barbarian after all - and it might not be the best weapon, but I can manage some good matches with it. What's yours if you don't mind?
As for modes, it depends a lot on the maps, but as a rule of thumb I prefer splat zones and tower control. Rainmaker can be fun, but I enjoy it more on maps like Urchin Underpass, Camp Makerel or Piranha Pit (really like that map). On others tough I tend to avoid it.

Got three quick super jumps on my clothing today in my first reroll and I currently have 2 ink refill and one quick super jump on my head piece. (Not sure if I should stick with it since I still want a couple strength ups on my gear)
Btw does anyone have the blue sea slugs and soccer headband? I'm thinking of using them for one of my sets.

@Lycidas I'm a Splat Roller main, and I personally prefer Rainmaker, as I know I don't have to worry about what everyone else is doing. If I mess up, I know it can only be my own fault.
The N-Zap 85 isn't a bad weapon at all. If you find yourself dying a lot, use it as an advantage. Try Stealth Jump and stack three Quick Respawns on it. It takes some time to get used to, but once you've got used to the timing, you can superjump more freely all over the map, without anyone knowing you're there.
@TheXReturns: Ah, Rollers, my sworn ennemies! Or at least, the Dynaroller is. ^^
I can see your point about Rainmaker being a bit less team based, and I agree to some extent. A good push by one or two squids can decide the match, which is rather difficult on Splatzone and Tower control. Had just that experience, on Aowana Mall, when a squadmate used a Seeker to open up a path for me so I could put the Rainmaker on its pedestal. Before that, we were quite dominated by the other team.
Tahnks for the advice about Stealth jump, I'll give it a try though I normally don't jump that much anyway. I prefer to swim, so I can get a better look at what's happening.

Is Splatoon ghost-developed by SEGA? XD
It already looks like Jet set Radio, the Squid Sisters appeared in a Vocaloid-like concert(SEGA makes Vocaloid's concerts and videogames) and then this:
On those sales figures it has to be said that, at least in my opinion, Sony/Microsoft/PC fans provided me with the Best Deluded Stupid Blind Hating Jealous Prediction of the YearTM (BDSBHJPotY for short ) last year when they said that Splatoon was an embarrassment of a game that no ones cares about that would be dead not long after launch. 2 awards at the Game Awards for best shooter and best multiplayer last year (beating Halo 5 hours in both) and becoming one of the most successful new IPs in a long, long time later, it is safe to say that the chickens have come home to roost now and it's no wonder I haven't seen that comment in months. If these people had any intelligence in the first place and if they wanted to keep their reputations intact they mabye should keep their tarps shut in the future. Or not, because it is always fun when this happens
@OorWullie: That's awesome. Last we played you were still in the B+ range. Glad to see you worked your way back up. Is that the highest you ever reached?

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
