@Nicolai: Yeah, disconnections make you lose 2 points, but at least it's not for losing very game!

I hate splash walls so much... especially in Arowana Mall. They fit perfectly in the narrow path and there is no way around it!

@Blue_Blur: I agree, and few of my mains have it. The only one is the Squelcher, and that's usually pointless for that weapon anyway.

@Nicolai: First knockout on Ancho-V for me! I didn't know where to go at first, so I'm glad I figured out the path quickly! XD

@Blue_Blur: Lol, following you is a good strategy! That's what I did at the end there, I followed you toward the right end of the map, and I ended up exactly where I needed to be

Ancho-V Games is yet another gem of outstanding map design. Love the moving platforms and all the different height levels. Pity this will be the last update for the time being.

@Nicolai: If following me works, then by all means keep doing it! XD Your bubbler comes in handy, too!

@Blue_Blur: I almost had a heart attack at the end there! We almost turned a for-sure victory into a defeat!

@Mk_II: Agreed. It is so satisfying using the moving platforms to your advantage.

@Blue_Blur: In whose right mind is it a good idea to team up for a twin squad, both using Dynamo Rollers? No team needs two dynamo rollers.

Splatoon is down just now.According to the Operational Status page it's been down for quite a while.I might be converting the time wrong though.I really wanted to try TC on the new map too,hopefully it'll back to normal before the change over.

@OorWullie Ah, it looks like it's been down for roughly 2 hours. I just remembered that it's Japan's Splatfest... Guess I'll give it a try later.

@yokokazuo: I just checked to see if it was back to normal and according to the Japanese and US site it is and has been for the last hour.Still unable to get on though.Instead of getting a communication error after a few minutes it's saying "unable to connect to partners device" .Annoying!

I'm in now but all alone in the lobby with no way to back out.The countdown clock keeps resetting.Looks like I'm going to need to pull the power out the back!

The next UK Splatfest should be really interesting.Possibly the best one yet?

And the tower froze in place several times when I was on it? Has this happened to anyone?

@TingLz: In the past, yeah. It was a shame, because I assumed that it wasn't moving because an enemy was on it, so I spent the next few seconds shooting the puddles of enemy ink on the tower and leaving myself an easier target for nearby enemies. I got splatted real quick.

Does anyone ever feel that their skill level is somewhere inbetween ranks? I keep getting to S, then losing back to A+ through a slow trickle of slightly more losses than wins, then winning every game and shooting back up to S again. There must be some kind of divide between the two ranks; I don't quite fit into either category.

I don't know what my skill rank is. Tower mode for some reason is unplayable today whereas the other modes are fine.

@Nicolai I had this a lot when I was B+/A-, I was stuck in there forever. It is kind of similar in S too. Right now I tend to have even matches going up and down, but when I do rank down to A+, it is usually very easy to quickly get back into S.

If I had to guess, I'd call myself a B/B+ right now. Problem is, aside from Tower Control weird issues, my games are never consistent. I'll have a big winning streak for several games, and then I'll lose terribly in a couple afterwards

@Nicolai: I've been as high as S 54 and feel I will never get to S+. I've also fell out 4 times now and other then once where I almost fell to A it's been fairly easy to get back. So yes, I feel like I'm better then A+ but Not quite a good enough S player to move any further. I'm quite surprised there isn't an S- tbh.
