Still a bizarrely interesting Splatfest though. In my opinion. I'd missed the last two or three, so I'd forgotten how satisfying it was to stick on a T-shirt and defend some inane preference to the death.

Close, I've squad'd with vl players before they're really good.

@Jazzer94 I believe SND (Squids Next Door) is also a pretty good team from squid boards.
That match went by kind of quick...

@Lzthequack you could always try to squad up with someone to get out of the C rank doldrums.

I have time for one more game, sorry we're not doing that well...

Those squad members are jerks.

Or I could snipe the entire opponent team with one missile

OMG, Stealth squid is broken.

I hid in one spot while the team ran around me. I snuck in their base and put the rainmaker in the end point without any problems

Er wait, I got killed by the rainmaker's shield...despite it splatting my color. Nice glitch there game!

@LztheQuack well touching it does do damage no matter what so I assume that is what happened.

Also even with ninja squid, doesn't the rainmaker shine show up?

Nah, I was in a corner sneaking around obstacles while the opponents were chasing my team.

Also, the weird thing was I died...without a death screen. My squid just randomly stopped in a corner. I didn't touch the RM either.

Well I finally ranked up to C. It was very dramatic too. I yelled out loud as I planted the Rainmaker in the opponent's base

Ha ha, that sounds like a ton of fun though! Well, maybe; as long as your fellow snipers didn't take all the splats you were just about to get.

I'm confused, wasn't there supposed to be a maintenance from 2 to 12 CET? I can still play Splatoon. I only tried Turf War though since I don't want to to lose 10 rank points when Nintendo finally start their maintenance during a match or so...

Yeah i know what you mean, although it's not really a glitch. If you get squished between a wall and the RM's shield, you die. That angered me multiple times and I wish they would change that, but by now I just try to avoid such tight spots.
@yokokazuo: Interesting, I played against someone from the SND clan during Splatfest and he was quite good.

Congrats! That's exactly how I felt when I ranked up to A+; I actually posted it on Miiverse! XD (Although I didn't mention that I screamed for joy too)

We were pretty spread-out in Museum D'Alfonso. It was actually an amazing map to have it in. Most of us were really high up, it was like sniping while hiding in the treetops in a forest.
