Topic: Splatoon - OT

Woo! I love the Carbon roller now! I've finally figured out how to use it effectively.

I've found I can do well if I play really aggressively, completely unlike my normal playstyle. I guess that is what it was built for, after all.

The Carbon Roller was always my go-to Roller, although I just recently got back into it. Fastest of the Rollers, quicker attack swing and the sub/special make up for the lack of range. People can keep their Dynamos, I'll stick with the underdog of Rollers.

@DreamyViridi I've always been a roller guy. I can make do with Shooters and Sloshers, but I perform best with Rollers.

Don't ever think anyone knew that. XD

Dang, I dipped back into Splatoon for just a few minutes after Xenoblade X consumed my week. It is real easy for me to get rusty at this game. Gonna have to practice up before I dive back in.

I don't think I can get rusty in this game (280 hours of playtime should've made sure of that ), but a few days ago - after playing XCX for a few days in a row - Splatoon felt like 200x faster than XCX.
Now I'm pretty sure XCX doesn't run on a high framerate, while Splatoon probably runs on 60fps all the time.

Although the effect didn't last very long, after 1-2 matches I was used to it again.

@shani ya, that's why I posted the picture. I had gotten the shirt on one of my trips to Japan at Nagoya Castle. Despite living in Nagoya on exchange before, I didn't really learn much about the shachihoko until I watched that video. But I had forgotten about my shirt since I don't wear it a whole lot haha.

This EU Splatfest really seems to be favouring the Anti-Pineapple side. Played against a lot of other Anti followers and out of the couple dozen matches I had with the Pro side, we only lost 3 of them, I'm already at the King ranking. Hope the Pro side don't make some kind of huge comeback overnight...

@Nicolai are you able to do some squad battles now? SZ on Kelp Dome and Flounder Heights.

@yokokazuo: I just agreed to a Turf War battle. After 3 minutes, I will!

I just started playing, and it seems the same here. A couple of anti-pinapple vs. anti-pinapple matches here already.

@yokokazuo: Alright, room up. I'm gonna try the dynamo for one game, one! If I lose that round, I'll switch to a more traditional weapon.

@Kinan: I would call it one of my mains, but I don't use it too, too often anymore. I'm not the greatest at it. I used to be better at it back when I was C+/B-, but the game really changes up the road, and people don't fall for surprises as easily.

@yokokazuo: Lol, the E-Liter 3K and the Dynamo Roller. The two tankiest weapons in the game, not counting the Hydra.

I thought the last EU Splatfest strongly favoured the Ghosts side, and there were lots of people online saying they were Ghosts and there were lots of Ghosts vs Ghosts battles. However, they only had 51% popularity. Because of this, I'm unsure whether pro or anti Pineapples will be most popular.

Might just use different weapons, kelp dome is one of my worst stages.
