I'd love to meet whoever thinks of these questions. The Burgers vs Pizza choice the US had is way better than whether pineapple on pizza is delicious or awful.
Couldn't agree more! Feels like every EU Splatfest theme is worse than the one before. Why can't we just have one global Splatfest?
At least this is something that is possible to have opinions about. I think North vs. South Pole was the worst by far.
Actually I disagree. Apart from Rock vs Pop, Northpole vs. Southpole was the best so far, in terms of being able to make a choice. At least I had no doubt which to choose: I'd always prefer Penguins to Polarbears and seriously, who prefers Rock to Pop anyway? ^^
But with this one I really can't decide, just as with the previous one (Ghosts vs. Zombies). There was a time I disliked pineapple on Pizza, but nowadays it's okay for me. But it's still not one of my favourite toppings. So really, I have no clue what to vote for. :/
Y'know I've been thinking... Splatoon is fun. A lot of fun. But the fact that it's fun is mostly from online and the game is online focused makes me worried. Eventually, like with the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection service, the Nintendo Network will be shut down in favor of a newer, better system. The servers will be shut off, Multiplayer will be inaccessible and your plaza will be lifeless. What's going to happen to this game when that inevitably happens? Will it be forgotten? I really hope this new IP isnt just a one off. I hope its success contributes to a sequel at some point.
Enjoy Splatoon now! A similar thing would happen if the hype moves to another online game in the future. An online game without a playing community is nothing, specially a game where 8 human players are required.
So I just had a ridiculous match. My teammates bar one got disconnected, so it became a shootout between me and the other team. It took all four to hit me
1 pound of ground beef (chuck is best)
1 tablespoon of onion powder
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
2 tablespoons of burger seasoning
A few dabs of Worcestershire sauce
A few dabs of Hot sauce (my favorite is Louisiana)
Ball up the ground beef into your hands and press gently to make a patty. Place on grill and cook until all meat is brown. Enjoy your burger!

@LztheQuack: Mine's easier to make. Just get a burger patty and cook it on your skillet until brown. Flip patty. Approximately 4 minutes before meat is medium done, put desired toppings such as mushrooms and onions in with it, cover pan, and simmer. Once patty is cooked through, remove cover, and put slice of American cheese as you turn off heat. Scoop toppings on top of cheese, then place patty on bun with lettuce.
It's delicious with these patties I got from my parents that they got straight from an organic farm! It's surprisingly cheap when you buy it by the cow.
I love that we're sharing burger recipes now. A Southern trick if you're using a skillet instead of a grill: use butter (real butter, not margarine or a substitute) to grease your skillet instead of oil. That's what all these old-fashioned burger stands in the South used to do, and it is magnificent.
Now I'll tear myself away from Xenoblade (and, uh, work) for a few minutes to do Team Burger proud.
I am making team burgers proud! Just held the entire top portion of Saltspray Rig for most of the match by myself. I completed the entire match without dying! GO BURGERS!
@VelvetElvis: I'm always afraid of the butter burning, but I'll have to try that! My burger-making is probably automatically inferior, since I come from the North.
@Nicolai: It works best for thin patties, so they're not on the skillet as long. But, man, all of America can represent the Burger Kingdom, no matter where you're from. I was raised in the South and now I live on the West Coast, and the burgers here are famously excellent — In-N-Out aside, I'd figured they'd be awful due to the focus on healthy eating, but not so.
I won most of the matches I played, but only got to Pizza Champion. Hopefully I helped out enough for Team Pizza to win; I need super sea snails! I did have a couple pizza vs. pizza matches, so pizza will probably win popularity. Did anyone on Team Burger have a burger vs. burger match?
i think i had my fill of splafest i got to champion no im not royalty . I was rocking it do on this one lobby i kept getting 10 splats a match while my teammates would get 1,2,3
