@pherret022: @jariw: Actually for Rainmaker, it changes once a team gets to sub 40 points. It's really neat, actually. There are a few ways you can't go until the water level drops.
I would have never guessed Weezing was so useful until I played a HeartGold Nuzlocke! My YouTube Channel! Video game related, of course! My Pushmo Levels
Made it to B+! I am almost done battling my way out of the B Rank and into A-! (I will finally gain the respect I deserve in Splatoon...)
Am I taking this too seriously?
@pherret022: Once I got to A- I was all about getting to S but now after being in and out 4 or 5 times It's not as big a deal anymore. I really doubt I'll ever get to S+

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
@Spoony_Tech: Alright man,yep I've hardly been on since that last time we played and I got all the disconnects.I played a few matches the other day and had the same problem. My internet speed is all over the place this past 10 days or so.I'm not sure what's causing it yet but the problem seems to be wider than just my apartment block as several friends around the city are having issues too.I'm supposed to be playing a Splatoon tournament tomorrow,I'm going to be so rusty haha.I would try and have a few games just now to get some practise in but I'm downloading Xenoblade X. I always get an error if I try download and play at same time and with it being a 20gb download I don't want to risk that.

Not at all!
I fell from A to B and now I'm fighting my way up again, currently at B+. Wanna squad up?
My GOTY? Legend Of Zelda: Splat of the child. Ah no, I meant LoZ: Breath of the SPLATOOOON!
Im 5 points from dropping down to B+ but its alright i know i can climb back up.
I'm already working my way up back to A-, currently on a good run (won 7 out of 8 matches).
It's really good to know that climbing back up is never really a problem. I think every time I reached a new rank, I lost it for ~ 3 times and then went back up again.

@MasterWario: For me, yes, that defininitely ruins the experience. B rank people aren't fun to play with. I'm very objective focussed and die a lot because of it. Heck. I've had times when I splatted 3 of their team on my own and my team was doing the equivalent of loafing around. And in comes enemy #4 and I die and we still lose the objective while my team goes "Durrrrrr".
@Kinan:
Your experience in the B Rank is very similar to my experience in the B Rank. I will clear out the entire other team, but then my teammates will just stand there do nothing. It is very frustrating!
Yeah I also experienced that a lot. Actually just a few matches before, twice even, only the second time my team actually made something out of it.
Playing against opponents in B ranks is ususally not such a big challenge at all, while playing with them can sometimes be frustrating, but not that much (expecially if they already are in B+ range). Playing with people ranked in the A's on the other hand is much more satisfying because the players usually know what they have to do. But of course, your enemies in the A's also know that.
I never thought it would be that noticeable during battle, but the ranks really mean something.
EDIT: Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention it since I only followed it on Reddit yesterday: It's so awesome to see that Splatoon won those two awards! Made me somewhat happy and almost a bit proud (although there isn't really something to be proud of myself). ^^
@shani: Yeah, I think I forgot to respond to @Kinan about that, but I think I remember B being rough for me too. You kinda have to be wayy better than B rank to rise consistently, but once you are, you rise like fireworks, or maybe that's just Rainmaker in B, ha ha. And once you hit A, your opponents are tough, but so are your teammates, and then when you get to S everyone's on the top of their game, and if someone's not it's very obvious to everyone else. Although as I mentioned before, the skill disparity range in S is huge.

@MasterWario: Sometimes I'm not even sure whether I want to get into S. ^^ Got back to A- and maybe A or A+ will be enough for me. Or maybe not, I'm not sure. @LztheQuack: Seems like that, at least sometimes. Just recently I had one game of SZ on Mahi-Mahi and my team consisted of 3 snipers and me. Out of obvious reasons I was the only one inking the zone and that clearly wasn't enough, we lost the game really quickly.
@AlternateButtons: I'm one of those people. If I don't play turf wars like ranked then I don't do good at all. I have a need to know where the enemy is so I can turf better. Now don't get me wrong I usually always end up in the top 2 spots as I paint as much as I can a long the way.
