These should be the costumes that come with it.
All versions should come with a download code for the Atlus costumes too though. (I got it with the digital version at least.)

Yeeah, those bikinis are gonna get censored for sure.

Does anyone have preorders up for the Fortissimo Edition? I won't double dip unless I get that version so I'm stalking Amazon. Best Buy and Gamestop.

No, they won't. Because they're not on 14-year-old girls.

Don't hate me because I'm bnahabulous.

The characters in Fatal Frame 5 weren't 14 year olds either, but the undergarments were removed from that game.

Nintendo clearly has to protect its adult customers from the kinds of horrible, sinful thoughts that will erupt if they saw the bodies of half-naked cartoon women.

Nothing, because Camilla's are regular clothes and not a swimsuit. In fact, from what I heard all/most of the swimsuits in Fates were censored. The ones you'd get the characters to wear in My Castle, I mean.

I don't know what they'll censor in this game, but I do know that picking up the game is enough for me in this case. Special Edition looks quite packed, though, so buyers will probably be happy.

A censored game with clothes as DLC.

How is that a counterargument? That curtain is just covering up her panties; not any skin that was actually already showing. It looks more like an artist who really didn't want to draw hands than it does censorship.

Anyway, as I see it the 3 counterbalancing points in this discussion are:

1) Sexuality has it's place in human experience,

2) But you really don't need to be looking at scantily-clad middle schoolers,

3) And we shouldn't be making such a big deal out of sexuality in the first place.

The counter argument is that they would censor an adult woman. As far as censorship goes, it was pretty half-arsed (pun unintended).

Something like that.

Anyway, that just doesn't look like censorship to me. Feels like people are getting upset over absolutely nothing.

Grumblevolcano

Really the big question comes down to FE Fates in Europe. What was the purpose of releasing 3 months later?

Grumblevolcano

NinjaWaddleDee

@Grumblevolcano: To tick everyone in Europe off. No, I'm sure they just needed to translate to all of the different languages in Europe first before shipping. Also again, I don't see the point in censoring a game that nobody is going to buy anyway. Unless you're a hardcore Nintendo fan, how do you even KNOW about this game in the first place?

Yeah, it's not like we see half-naked REAL women on the front of magazine covers and in movies all the time. We westerners need to be protected!
